Hi everyone,
I plan on attending PaizoCon this year. This will be my first time going as I just started playing in PFS about a month ago. I was looking over the schedule for the day that I plan on attending and noticed one seminar that I am extremely interested in going to, but it is full. My question is, will they allow me in in the case that there is a no show?

What about if I have back-to-back events? Do events let out 5 min. Early or is there a 5 min. Start delay.
From what I have seen in the past, there is usually enough time to get to your next table without an issue with even time for a quick restroom break - though there will probably be a line. Not really enough time to walk back to your room, and use your own unless you are a quick walker. Still, you could show to your table to check in with the GM, and then go as well which saves your seat.

For games, it really varies. Last year, when I played in PFS games, all of the ones I played in ended in enough less than the 5-hour time slot that there was at least a little bit of time to unwind. (15-20 minutes) But, that's just a few games, the ones I was in. I'm sure that some others pushed right up to the edge of the timeslot.

Usually, the GMs are cool enough they know people have to get to other games/events (and/or have one themselves). Typically, your game will start a little after scheduled time, as there is chit-chatting and whatnot.
It's much more likely you'll bump up against the end-time of a game, rather than start on time. You should be able to make each game. And if the GM doesn't let you in a game you're 5 minutes late for, you might not have wanted to play under that GM anyway. Just my 2 cp.

One thing I'll mention about seminars. Last year most of the seminars ended up broadcast on the Know Direction podcast. I don't know for sure if they're doing that again this year, but that's something to keep an eye out for.

When GM's submit their events for the schedule, they are supposed to include time for both set up and clean up of their table. If a game is scheduled until 1pm, they should be completely wrapping up their event no later than 5 minutes before 1pm. If its edging closer to your next event and you don't think you'll have time to get there, you may want to just excuse yourself from the table. PaizoCon is still a fairly small convention and it takes 5 minutes tops to walk around the hotel. Worst case scenario, go introduce yourself to the GM and then pop back out for a bathroom break while they are setting up. For seminars, its best to keep interruptions to a minimum, so if you aren't there on time, people without tickets need to be able to be seated as soon as possible so the event can start on time.
