Hi - my son and I got into the Madness in Nisroch game via the lottery, and I'm curious who else is in the game and what characters you might be bringing. The description says to bring a 15-point buy, 6th-level character to be part of "band of outsiders and misfits."
If you're playing, will you have an outsider or a misfit? Which sort of misfit will you bring? Not trying to get too cookie-cutter in party make-up, just curious and looking forward to it.
Well, pretty quiet in this little thread, but if anyone is reading it, I've been in touch with the GM for this game about an error in the character creation guidelines.
The game listing says "15-point buy, 6th level characters using the Pathfinder Core Rulebook, Advanced Class Guide, Ultimate Magic, Ultimate Combat, Ultimate Equipment, and the Advanced Class Guide playtest document (excluding any optional rules in those books)." Note that the ACG appears twice, but the APG not at all.
Stephen Radney-MacFarland's PM response when I asked about it was: "Yeah, it looks like there was a typo in the description. That first instance of the Advanced Class Guide should be the Advanced Player's Guide."

Stephen is an awesome GM and so bummed that I didn't get in to a game with him again this year.
Drat! I saw there was a new post, and that Zantumal's name was attached to it, and I thought, Excellent! The helpful guy who made the whole dang PaizoCon schedule into an XL sheet is going to be in that game! But it is not to be. Looking forward to it regardless, sorry you didn't make it in.
