[Interjection Games] Hardcover Class Compilation Art Question

Product Discussion

Hello, everyone! I've sent this query to my primary contacts, but would like data from everyone. I've found some templates I like. They are full color. I also found an artist who does work cheaply and well. His black and white work has a more genuine tabletop feel than his color work - it just screams old TSR, so I'd much rather get tons and tons of black and white art off of him rather than fewer color pieces. Would you want me to convert the templates to greyscale or are you okay with color backgrounds and black and white art? It costs an additional penny per page to print if color.

Let me know! I don't want to end up making something the customer base doesn't like.

Depending on how it is down, color backgrounds with b/w artwork can look really classy. Greyscale templates always scream 'meh' to me.

The templates I'm eyeballing are all cold and neutral colors. The goal is to make each of the three classes look like a different splatbook, much like how the Tome of Magic worked. Say what you will about the execution, the high-level ideas of that book were amazing.
