Quick PFS skill monkey question

Talking to a guy that is planning an extreme skill monkey.

Rogue 2 / Bard 9 / Expert 1

That would give him everything as a class skill.

I'm not at home so I can't access my guides. But I didn't think the Expert NPC class was allowed. Am I incorrect on this?

No. NPC classes are not allowed in PFS per the FAQ.

Pretty sure you can't go an npc class.

You could also go straight bard and you'd probably be safe. Remember not to drop your combat abilities entirely and that class skills aren't actually that valuable. Bard's already have a ridiculous number of skill points, especially with versatile performance and bardic performance/pageant of the peacock.

You are correct.

It's worth noting that a Rogue/Lore Warden only lacks Fly and Heal as class skills.

Rogue/Bard/Druid gets you everything as a class skill. Also gives you an animal companion you can flank with, and easy access to produce flame for touch attack sneak attacks.

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/5 **

It's also worth noting that most skills can be made Class Skills via the use of Traits.

I agree that the combo isn't necessary.

I just wanted to make sure I was correct that it also isn't allowed.

If that is the case, then a Rogue/Lore Warden/Evangelist could have every skill as a class skill.

(Trapper/Falconer) Ranger 1/Bard x. Has all but fly in class, trapfinding(with detect magic!), and a flying animal companion to boot. I'd rather just go bard X personally.

I would try to warn him not to do i. A 100% skill money wasn't that great even when faction missions did require every skill in the game, they're pretty useless now.

A bard can be pretty useful while being a skill monkey.
