So, I have a game that I'm basing around Zelda-style dungeons. It's a Zelda Tabletop, and I've got a moving platform, that is controlled by a series of switches, and then a lever, which freely moves to the left and right in order to let the one moving the lever to move the platform.
The end result of them using this platform is not only scaling the tower they're in, but having to lower the platform into a hole in order to open an otherwise impassable barrier. This will require precision. I'm usually good at houseruling, and I really want to just make it a reasonably high Use Magic Device DC, but a part of me wants it to include something else. Perhaps Dexterity? Or Perception to be certain that they think it's level and aligned right.
Thoughts?
