Exalted, Sentinel, and Evangelist, Core only, or not?

I have a question, it's a quite simple one really, does the Deific Obedience feat allow a character to choose a deity outside of the core deities whose obedience are listed in Inner Sea Gods? Namily, does it allow a character to take an Empyreal Lord or Demon Lord's Obedience since they are deities, and otherwise fit all of the rules of the feat.

Additionally, If a character can take say Deific Obedience (Arshea), can that character take levels in the Exalted, Sentinel, and Evangelist Prestige classes?

I'm really interested in an official ruling on this, because I may want to do this in PFS.

For PFS? I doubt it. If it isn't published, then PFS doesn't generally allow it. At the moment, I believe the Obedience feat just works with those core gods (though there is another feat that works with the Empyreal Lords).

For a home game? Sure, just ask the GM, see if he can make a few boons, and bam, good to go.

Honestly the only reason I don't see the feat working is that Empyreal Lords and Demon Lords do not have Sentinel and Evangelist boons. As written, I see no reason why Deific Obedience could not be taken for an Empyreal Lord or a Demon Lord, as they are Deities.

Only this paragraph is different from Celestial Obedience for the feat text:
Certain prestige classes (see page 198) gain access to these boons at lower levels as a benefit of their prestige class. If you have no levels in one of these prestige classes, you gain the boons marked as exalted boons. If you later take levels in sentinel or evangelist, you lose access to the exalted boons and gain access to the new boons appropriate to your class.

The Prerequisites are different, but there's no reason why you cannot meet the Prerequisites while not worshipping one of the Core Gods.

Demonic Obedience, Might I suggest Evangelist/Demoniac?

That would require the ability to take both Demonic Obedience, and Deific Obedience (unless you are referring to the Cleric archetype Evanangelist) and gaining no additional boons from one of the two (unless you venerate Lamashtu outside of PFS).

If its not pfs just swap the other obedience feats for the evangelist. Its an easy fix. For the others your left writing your own. If it is pfs just core

Yeah, again, if it's a home game, I think it'd be fine. Up to the GM of course, but if you want to take Exalted using Deific Obedience with an Empyreal Lord, I know I'd be fine with it.

PFS is just another beast.

I don't see why not, as long as you're happy not getting any boons.

In my home games, we let you take Deific Obedience for Empyreals and Demon Lords. With a RAW parse, it is definitely ambiguous whether or not it works. Previous to the paragraph about PrCs, the feat says you gain the boons at HD 12, 16, and 20 and the Evangelist states you gain the first, second, and third boons.

It comes down to what happens with the last paragraph if no boons are labeled Exalted, Sentinel, or Evangelist. There is nothing RAW to give any hints, so it will differ by GM and be iffy in PFS until an official PFS ruling comes out.
