Thassilon and Shory

All this talk of the Shory got me thinking about a question that I've been meaning to ask:

Is there a relationship between the Thassilonians and the Shory?

It's a real question, with a silly rationale:

I think Karzoug and Yithdul have the same tailor.

At the very least, Lissala appears to have been an influence in Yithdul thanks to the Sihedron.
But in reality, the relationship is ancient Azlant as far as I can see, not much more. Thassilon was before the age of darkness, Short during/after. Besides magic, I don't think they have too much in common.

I believe the relationship would be coincidental at best. Thassilon was pre-starfall, and the Shory were after if my memory serves me right.

Shory is separated from Thassilon by thousands of miles AND thousands of years. There's not really any direct links at all. The idea that they have the same "tailor" is less a suggestion of a hidden link and more a result of Paizo's art team working to present a unified style of art for our products.

I suspected the answer would be something like that, since I hadn't read about a connection before. But you never know.
