How's the weather in Korvosa?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I am starting a semi-homebrew campaign set in Korvosa, and I have what's hopefully a fairly easy question:

What's the weather like in Korvosa?

Given that it's on the west coast of a gulf (Conquorer's Bay), and that the Lost Coast region of Varisia is supposed to have a climate akin to the Pacific Northwest, I'm thinking more or less the same?

So-- would Portland, Oregon be a suitable analogy? Or would San Francisco be a better choice?

Thanks!

San Francisco's a pretty excellent analogy, although the temperatures would be a little lower on average.

Cloudy with a chance of imps, I'd say.

According to the book, local worshipers of Gozreh work with the city to magically manipulate the weather so it's always temperate. I'd assume that means the city's generally got a stable climate.

In the Inner Sea World Guide, they mention that during nasty storms and such, the sewers flood and nasty creepy crawlers like spiders and such surge out.

Don't have the book in front of me at the moment, but yeah, San Francisco sounds like a good analogy (though, as James said, the temps would be cooler, more especially in the winter months I believe).
