Quick idea to fix the Monk

If you gave the Monk the ability to Flurry of Blows in conjunction with a charge, what would you take away?

My first thought would be to add it as a 4th or 6th level Qinggong power.

Flurry Pounce... No. Pounce should not be a class feature. Its bad enough Barbarians can.

Kyle is right. Any martial should be able to move and use Two Weapon Fighting and similar abilities, no Pounce required.

With that houserule in place, TWF and Flurry (which is essentially Super TWF with built-in Double Strike) become more appealing.

Ok then, let's not use charge rules.

As a full round action, a monk may move up to her full speed plus make a Flurry of Blows attack, in either order. For the next round, the monk takes an AC penalty equal to the number of attacks she took.

If by "shouldn't be a class feature" you mean "should be a game mechanic available to all non-spellcasters" then I absolutely agree.

As for the fixing the monk, my first step would be to reprint the core rules and replace the monk written there with the Qinggong archetype. Then you give the monk full BAB because why would a class that relies on physical abilities be penalized like a spellcaster
