that lets a halfling enter a defensive stance be it total defense or fighting defensively that lets them give a dodge bonus equal to half their dodge bonus to allies? I saw it somewhere but don't remember where, I'm working on a paladin that grants allies bonuses to AC

It's the blundering defense feat from the ARG.

EDIT: The Bodyguard feat and the Helpful Halfling trait would also be good for your build.
