Just found out yesterday that my wife is 7 weeks pregnant! We are both kinda in shock, but excited. She went in for a wellness check expecting to get put on medicine for PCOS, and that's when we found out. Tentative due date is in September, but she may be further along than the initial estimate. We have appointment on the 24th of this month to do an ultrasound and then we should know for sure how far along she is.
Congrats on the new larva! May it grow into a strong, handsome/beautiful, and healthy slaad.
Hey congratulations man!!
September is an excellent B-day month!
Grats! Make the tiny alien into a good gamer.

Cherish the next months for ability to sleep full nights - you will miss them :D
Congratulations and good luck.
Congratulations and all the best for you and you evolving family!
Congratulations on critical success!
Now, what you need to do, that often isn't talked about, is sit down and decide on which inherited templates you want for your offspring. Choose poorly and your little one may be CR-impaired for its entire life. No pressure...

Thanks all for the congratulations. Got an update. Had our second ultrasound this past week. Looks like we are having a girl. Due date is October 9th.
Yay! Go lesser minion of evil!

Let me join in the festivities. Mrs Gersen tells me there will be a "Little Moonbeam" in our house come October.

Of course, this presumes come October she isn't simply planning on drilling a hole in the roof on a moonlit night... ;)

I might prefer that... I sort of have a W.C. Fields view of little ones, unfortunately. People keep telling me I'll get over that, though, so maybe there's hope for me yet.
Congratulations! I've been a dad for a little over 8 weeks now. You may find it to be the most trying and amazing time of your life. I'm glad we finally had one.

So can I have your gaming books? Since you won't be using them and all...

Don't get greedy, BNW. We used to have the kids at the gaming sessions all the time; it's a great break for stressed parents. The wee ones sleep a lot, and the older ones simply get handed some dice and stuck into the game.

Huzzah!
Paizonians fornicating always makes me happy.

I'm not a big fan of other people's kids, with the exclusion of my brother's youngest. He designed and wrote an RPG for a class project.
I don't have any of my own that I'm aware of, but I was a sailor.

I don't hate children, I hate noises, but since kids make a lot of noises...

That is adorable! Where do I pick one up for my best friend's soon-to-be second grandchild?
You'll also need this.
So I hear there are a few people retiring from gaming soon...

And I hear that there are some new folks joining gaming in a few years.
I'd invest in a nice large basin for cool water that she can put her feet in. And some cold compresses as well. Mid summer that far along in a pregancy is murder.
