I want to have the fey that the party runs into dropping hints about Nyrissa long before they meet her. The fey know of her But I imagine that they only know her by some title or nickname, like the Dancing Lady in RRR (and I don't want to spill all the beans right away). Does anyone have any ideas about good names for her?
She's a nymph, she's green, she named her realms Thousandbreaths / Thousand Voices. She appears to mortals in dreams.
This is what I've come up with on my own:
Queen of Whispers (playing off the breath/voice thing)
Queen of Dreams (not very interesting, IMO)
...and that's it. "The Beauty Queen" or "Green Queen" are just going to make the players groan.

It does briefly mention that the unicorn in book 1, if its spirit is somehow spoken to or returned to life, that it was struck down by "Purest corrupted beauty" (paraphrasing not sure if I remember exactly).
Nyrissa also has been cursed/cast down by the other fae elders so there could be things like "The Lost Grace" "The Exile of the First World" "The Heartless Wretch." "She who will never know love."
Just some suggestions. For better effect you might want to have different NPCs/hints use different names for her to show she multiple 'titles' depending on who is referring to her.

In my campaign she's being worshiped as a minor deity known mainly as "The Forgotten Queen", taking roughly the niche that Gyronna normally would have. Most of the major villains are followers of her, knowingly or unknowingly furthering her grand plans for the Stolen Lands.
Remember that most don't really know much about her so depending on who the speaker is they may not always refer to her as "Queen."

I forgot about that! You're exactly right, it's "purest corrupted beauty."

Her official (self-granted) title in the books is "The Queen of Forgotten Time", and that's what my players know her as. I believe it mentions this in her expanded backstory in the intro of Sound of a Thousand Screams.
Her other titles include "Maven of the Green", "Mistress of Whispers", and "She the Lost". I'll probably be stealing more as I see ones here I like. "Heartless Wretch" is appealing, if verging on spoilerish - reserve that one for someone who doesn't like her, rather than the adoring titles my PCs have run across so far.
I've introduced them to the name Nyrissa separately (though my players strongly suspect they're one and the same) as a faerie-tale princess who died for love (though the details, of course, were vague - told by none other than The Puck, who knows the truth but won't reveal it bluntly, under Titania's orders). Her titles then were "Lady of a Thousand Voices", "Maid of Eternal Sorrow", and later "Bride of Autumn Night".
Heartless or Bramble Heart might be appropriate.
How about "That character who looked really badass in my head until I saw her art on the cover of Sound of a Thousand Screams".

The left version is the various illusions and spectral visions the party's gotten of her over the first two chapters. The right version is what she'll actually look like when they face her.

"She Who Sings with a Thousand Voices" is one that came to my mind.
Though since her fall of sorts, it'd be more like "The Lady of Silent Screams".

Thank you all for some great ideas! I think I've finalized (for now) my list of nicknames and titles for Nyrissa. In order of knowledge, I am going with:
- Mistress of Many Whispers
- The Corrupted Maiden
- The Scorned Beauty
- Thorn Seeker
- The Hollow Rose
- Queen of Forgotten Time
I think. The list will probably change as it gets tinkered with...
