Intoxication Rules

Rules Questions

Ive read lots of ideas on how to handle intoxication but can someone just post me their rules? Im really knew to the system and honestly dont trust myself to implement any houserules yet.

I would think a rule that simply assigns a Fort Save DC based on the strength of the drink with varying condition results based on the outcome, but im unsure as to the specifics.

Dark Archive

I liked what a GM once responded to another player at the table (who was being quite annoying).

Player: "Is there any consequence to drinking?"

GM: "Only if you piss off the GM!"

Thanks but I need a little more help than that. Nobody?

I mostly just wing it as a GM. The higher your constitution, the more you can take. Two drinks plus one per constitution point above 10 is maybe a good guess.

Oh, I've seen the official rules and they are about the same (one plus double Con-Mod).

As for the results of excessive drinking, being sickened is easy to apply.
However, I would think it should more develop into penalties to dexterity, intelligence and wisdom, maybe initiative, too.

Thanks, I found a goof set of rules in something called "Tournaments, Fairs and Taverns" that seem to fit the need. Ill give them a shot.
