No, you are not. In fact there are several "targets of opportunity" asking for you attention. Go get them! Remember to cover Xi'Tir!
Also, you wrote the 1,000 discussion post! Congratulations!

Vodyanov won't go anywhere soon, the Swords will enter before you drop the gate. That leave only Daliedhur (I thing she will enter too) and Mulray (has not posted yet).
But you go ahead, let them do their stuff, you go bash heads.
Daliedhur
I've been clearing the area around you, and attacked every single round Halcorg.
I still think we rushed into this fight too hard :/
Yeah Corsario, I'm going for those next - just waiting to see the mayhem Halcorg will cause, since Daliedhur is less constrained by distance ;)
EDIT: Or actually... I should act BEFORE him, right?
But all of that is irrelevant - YAY 1000 Discussion posts!
Xi'Tir
Instead of posting this in main thread and clogging up the works~ I believe there are at least half a dozen enemies inside the fort still. Besides we have animal companions that can fight still. >:)
Halcorg
Halcorg was about to head up and check them out. At the same time, if/when Neji starts to tell us about zombies outside, we are going to want to get the gate up fast to get the horses and Mulray in as well as anyone else who is outside.
Neji Lazula
Neji is going to link up with you guys in next couple rounds. She has just learned that her Eidolon can destroy the bandits with ease. As such, this recent development is probably more important.
Halcorg
Destroyerman can carry Neji, I am more concerned about the horses outside. Not so much the ones at the end of the path, as they will hopefully run, or can be caught by a flying Destroyerman. It is Mulray and Daliedhur's that I am concerned about.
Neji Lazula
You probably have some time. The two bandits' bodies should distract the undead from the horses; they seem like the most likely target for some hungry zombies. They likely can't perceive Neji, and they probably won't bother chasing a flying tin man.
Halcorg
Remember, these are not normal zombie, they are more guardians of a destroyed monastery. At least that is what I think they are. They attack anyone who steps off the path. Not sure who did, but that is I think what happens. We will have to clear them out eventually.

Destroyerman was when he charged the bandits.
Got some work issues, I will be late posting. Sorry.
Corsario

You can plan ahead... The zombies are the "fast" variety (think the World War Z movie). The bandits outside the hill, at the end of the path seem to be staying, while the ones in the path are getting out of it full speed. Leaf, Vodyanoy and Neji are outside (and a "expendable" horse too). Destroyerman is in no big risk (at least not as big as the others).
I am working on the next battle post. Sorry for the delay.
Halcorg
Rather than charging up the stairs, Halcorg will move back to the portcullis and attempt to lift it. I am hoping that the swords or one of the ladies will help him this time since nobody is shooting at them.
Strength: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 <-- should get it up.
Someone get the horses, Neji and Neji's boyfriend inside the gate before they become zombie food.

Sorry for the day lost. I am severely sleep deprived. I will continue ASAP.
Neji Lazula
So why can't Neji cast Haste on just herself and Destroyerman? From how I read the target selection, having a caster level of six, she can cast it on up to six targets, so she can limit it to just two individuals. What would make it target six random entities in the immediate area? That would really hurt the spell's usefulness.
Neji Lazula
Not an issue. Though I didn't specify it at the time (couldn't access to the map), I would have just moved closer or had D-Man fly in a bit closer. My confusion is primarily with this weird targetting.
Corsario
|
You can cast it on only you and Destroyerman. But you would need to get closer to Destroyerman... and the Zombies... do you want to do that?
Or have Destroyerman move closer... that would work too. Also, the spell has a verbal component... keep that in mind.
Halcorg
That is what I intended. I figured that Halcorg would have seen someone create water before, but might not know who could. Thus, he shouted out the request(command) and figured that someone would get to it. He hopes that the bandits will grab buckets and use some muscle to "prove" themselves.

And save their own hides... Fire burns the good and the bad.
I think there are characters still pending to act... Let me check...
Halcorg
Even semi-intelligent bandits know what a bucket line is and how to throw water on a fire. I do not know how big the fire is, but unless there is a ton of kindling, it should not be that large after about 20 seconds.
Neji Lazula
I was going to ask if anything else was going to happen because it seems like the battle is over. I mean, ding dong, the Stag Lord's dead. So are most of his named goons. The other merry men aren't a match for the PCs. Destroyerman can just hack up the zombies from the air. The fire is going to be doused with twelve gallons of water a round. Again, it seems like everything is handled.
Halcorg
Don't forget - the Stag Lord got his power from some fairy princess. It is quite likely that she is about, or some servant of hers. Really, from a metagame point, it is someone with eventual ties to the big bad end monster from the modified AP.
Xi'Tir
Well three of us need a lot of healing lol.
After two channels and a direct heal Maria is still down. Seraph is barely up and so am I lol. Good fight. And good thing we brought some potions! XD
cure light wound roll for next round...: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Nice.
Seraph Whitemoor
cure light wounds roll: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Another Bbeg to take on eh? Good. Just need to feel myself lol.
Still pretty distracted by helping Xi with house stuff. Its going well though. :)
Let me know if you need anything special but it appears Tatiana has this handled. Am I right?

About Maria and Vodyanoy. They will keep down for the rest of the battle.
And kudos for Neji... she got a point. Why do I keep the battle on if all of the enemies are down? And after an NPC killed the big bad...
Tatiana Fortuna
Sorry, I won't have Tatiana affected by the meta-game advice to heal. She continues to react to her dramatic surroundings. Keep up the drama!
BTW, Corsario congrats on tying Brazil. That's like a win in their own country.
cheers

I must say I am not much of a soccer fan. But thanks.
And yes, drama is great, you have much to do (zombies, fire, enemies, injuries) and very little time...

Which meta-game advice? That was only the wind ;)
Arshea is planned to have an important part in the campaign. I like having more Oracles of her.
Ti'Itza
Hello and thanks for having me everyone!
I selected Arshea because it was easy enough to do with the Lizardfolk, especially as there aren't very many gods for them to choose from. I would assume Gozreh would be the primary selection but this works. :)
Looking forward to our travels together!
Xi'Tir
lol the wind... Sure it was.
As we say in the oilfield when we need to get something done quickly, in a way that may not jive well with safe practices with our management on site.
"Look at that Caribou!"
When they turn to look away you complete your task, most of the time they get it and leave so you can work. xD
Seraph Whitemoor
@Corsario
Now that I can see the upper floor. lol ;)
True but we don't know if the bandits will turn on us again now that their lord is Back on his feet. That was the other reason why Seraph is saying seek cover. Them using Alchemist Fire before only makes the reason to hide more so, on top of her serious injuries ;). So my actions will remain the same which is fine.
Couldn't get the map to load as my phone doesn't like google so I was winging it lol. Not your fault, its just not supported and I have been busy with home inspections.

Corsario / Everyone
Are the Downtime rules being utilized? I understand the kingdom building ones are but I was just curious.
Tatiana Always loved the Idea of an Inn or Private Bar setting. Just loads of fun.
It is an interesting system and I wouldn't mind taking advantage of it if possible.
Thanks,
Grant

I will answer that in detail tomorrow, but the short answer is no, but if you want to set a house or business you can.
