Improving spellstrike

Rules Questions

Silver Crusade

This is a simple enough question, so I apologize if it's already been asked.

With the magus spell strike ability, it says you make the attack with you weapon at its lowest base attack bonus. I was wondering if there were any rules, feats, loopholes, etc that'd improve the hit chance (aside from True Strike).

Right now I'm at level 2, so the BaB is only +1, so it can be a bit frustrating. thank you!

I believe you have a typo there, it should be at your highest BAB not lowest.

Spell Strike:
At 2nd level, whenever a magus casts a spell with a range of “touch” from the magus spell list, he can deliver the spell through any weapon he is wielding as part of a melee attack. Instead of the free melee touch attack normally allowed to deliver the spell, a magus can make one free melee attack with his weapon (at his highest base attack bonus) as part of casting this spell. If successful, this melee attack deals its normal damage as well as the effects of the spell.

Also spell strike is subject to attack modifiers that affect the weapon you are spell striking with.
Weapon Focus +1 hit
Magic Weapon +enhancment bonus form spell
High Ground +1 (not sure if situational or moral bonus)
Arcane Pool (Su) enhance your weapon
+ Str bonus to hit
or if your a Dex build with an appropriate weapon and have Weapon finesse then + Dex
there are really alot of options even at low levels, you just need to find them

Silver Crusade

You just made my morning. I must've been misreading it, and thought it was simply you bab without modifiers and the like. Thank you!

Haha it's no problem the part to note is "can deliver the spell through any weapon he is wielding as part of a melee attack."

Shadow Lodge

That would sound horrible... Having an ability that outright gets worse as you level.
