What should the prerequisites be for Improved Critical (Mythic)...

Homebrew and House Rules

In a non-Mythic campaign?
In a Mythic campaign you need BAB +8 and Improved Critical. The feat increases the critical multiplier of one weapon by 1, so what do you think the prerequisites should be for something this strong?
Thanks a lot for any advice and suggestions! :D

Silver Crusade

This ability is pretty close to the fighter capstone ability so I would just say no. As written the feat is already quite broken, since it is far better for high threat range weapons.

How much should a pistol cost in a campaign with no guns?

In a campaign that does allow guns, a pistol costs 1,000 gp. How much should that cost increase in a campaign where guns don't exist?

It really isn't very powerful. Compare it to sickening critical or any other "__ critical" feat. Mythic Improved Critical, as written, is certainly not worth a mythic feat and almost certainly not worth a normal feat either.

When an underpowered feat is as good as a class's capstone ability, that is a sign that the class's capstone isn't very good, not that the feat (and half the other feats in the game) are too good.

Ah, this is good news really, as I only really want it to maximise the Holy Vindicator's "Divine" class features. So do you think the prerquisites should be Improved Critical and BAB +8, then?

It could be. I might require another feat (e.g. Critical Focus), but it would probably be something related which you might want anyways.

Brilliant, thank you very much! I think me and my GM might work together to find another "Critical" feat for a prerequisite that would be useful to me. Appreciate it, man!
