Dumb chronicle sheet question

Silver Crusade 2/5

I have run tables for Pathfinder Society a few times now. I always give all my players their chronicle sheets all filled out.

I was just thinking about how this also applies to my own character. Should I be giving myself chronicle sheets as well for that character? Do I sign off on them myself?

Yes and yes.

Patrick is correct!

It's kind of a "yes, but" due to a few exceptions, though, that you might want to know.

With the exception of Level 1 or 1/2 modules and scenarios, you can only give yourself a chronicle sheet once for any particular scenario, even if you GM it multiple times.

As of August 14, you have the option of re-playing or re-GMing one scenario for each star you've earned. Details about stars and this rule are listed in the new Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

Thanks for stepping up to run in your area!

Is First Steps Part I the only current level 1 scenario?

Yes, but there are also level one modules, most notably We Be Goblins! and Master of the Fallen Fortress, and the first sanctioned portion of the Reign of Winter adventure path is level one (and thus replayable).

There are limited tables and a GM rotation schedule where I play. Modules with their tendency to run long aren't always a viable option. It will take a while to run through all the scenarios with 1-2 tier anyway.

I don't consider running a piece of an adventure path repeatedly to be a viable option.

We Be Goblins runs shorter than the average scenario, in my experience. I don't remember Master of the Fallen Fortress being too long either.

Isn't We Be Goblins meant to be played as a one-off with goblin characters used only for that scenario?

Yes, but you get a chronicle sheet which you can apply/give to a level one character.

So the players just pick a level 1 character they have, give me the corresponding -X number for the chronicle sheet and it gets reported as a player session for that character?

That's right. If they don't have a character yet that they can apply it to (or that they want to apply it to), they can also apply it to a new character by putting down a new -X number.
