This resonated deeply with my experience of being frequently judged, bullied, excluded or singled out for worse treatment, and not just by the cool kids. It may with yours as well. Or you may be on the other side of this experience. It's worth thinking about either way.

In any case, I think the world would be a much better place if more people watched this and understood what it felt like.

To all the gamer girls out there... one of the best way to stop the obnoxious attempts to ridicule you is to make sure women are no longer a minority in gaming.

I think we have a lot of gamer girls in our area. We certainly need more with that other point of view, but I think there are more than average. Some of my friends have moved on to other lives in other states, but they are still gamers.
