Liberty's Edge

"Show off."

No hits. I make an overrun move to where they are standing.

"Splortch!"

Let the good times (with acid and paralysis) roll!

Sovereign Court

Jenny; Lets check these guys dexterity

Dex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Dex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Dex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

It looks like you will be digesting 2 strange bug creatures, 1 manages to back away and attacks

Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 Pain: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

"BLUUUUURP!"

Yeah, that hurt. But hey, two-zero, and digesting. Press on!

Sovereign Court

Jenny: Oh yeah! here is where we get to learn something about our strange bug friends special attack. the creature is latched on to you and does an automatic.

1d6 ⇒ 5

Looking at the charred bugs to the left, he smiles.

"That's right boys! Mess with the dragon and you get its fangs!"

Liberty's Edge

"But you burned them, OHMYGOD JENNY!" I attack the one latched on Jenny
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 for 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Sovereign Court

Nesod: That is a miss, but the death scarab thing takes acid damage...uh Acid: 1d8 ⇒ 8 and a save vs paralysis Paralysis: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 It makes it's save but looks pretty bad

I squeeze slightly together, so I can flop over on the side with the skull bug thingy to crush it. Also absorbing its two pals to rebuild my cytoplasm and geometric membrane.

"BURRRRBLE!!!"

"Excuse yourself."

Sovereign Court

Jenny: The strange bug abomination are slowly digested in Digestion: 1d10 ⇒ 8 rds.

Do the rest of is see Nesod's illusion?

Sovereign Court

Alissa: I guess you do.

Are my bug dead or are they illusions too?

Sovereign Court

AMS: Yes they are dead, in fact i think they are all dead. so let me reorient the party. You are all at a crossroads 110' from where you entered. To the left is a hallway that goes 40' and turns south, this hallway goes south 30' and then turns east and connects to the hallway you are in.

To your right is the hallway jenny is happily digesting the bug creatures. This hallway goes 30' and then turns north.

You can also go straight ahead.

behind you 60' on the left hand side is another hallway

Terrific. We are in a maze.

Sovereign Court

Alissa: Trust me it's not as bad as it seems, The 2 hallways to your left and right just loop back to the main hallway that goes straight and/or back to where you entered. There is also a hallway 60' back on the left side.

Liberty's Edge

Half Life 2 Style. I can dig it.

I'll follow Liss and maintain the illusion.

Okay, what direction now? Do We need some consultation from my dragon ancestors?

"BLURRRRRP..."

Sovereign Court

AMS: You entered the hallway on the north wall and are facing north.

Jenny: You finish digesting the strange creatures, The carapaces took a little longer than expected.

If I am reading this right, if we take the left fork it will loop around and come out in the main hall on the left 30 feet back.

If we take the right it will loop around and come out back to the main hall somewhere ahead of us. We can not yet see where it comes out.

Sovereign Court

Alissa: That is correct.

Nasty finishes eating what is in his hands then follows Alissa.

"I am with you boss."

Since this does not match the mosaic, lets take extra care. Let us take the left corridor and see if there is anything in there, then we will explore the left corridor 60' back.

Sovereign Court

Alissa: The left hallway loops around and connects to the main hallway(This makes for an awesome ambush where the part can get attacked on all 4 sides).

You make your way back 60' to the passage on the left. This has a stairway(13 steps) leading down into darkness. the odor of rotten meat rises from below.

"Lets go down the left hallway were it loops around and connects to the main hallway. Although something smells tasty down the stairs."

AM H, Get ready to turn.

Looks at Alissa, "you know something that we don't?"

Just being cautious.

*Heads down stairs.*

Searching For Traps: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17

Liberty's Edge

Behind Liss, doing my awful best not to make a racket.

Stealth: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (15) - 2 = 13

Sovereign Court

Alissa: You notice that the bottom step is covered in a thin clear mucous like substance

Nesod: Try some chondroitin for those creaky bones

AMS: Maybe you should go first and not search for traps, it would be a whole lot more fun that way 8>)

*Pulls out an ordinary twig and tosses it on the clear mucous.*

Sovereign Court

Alissa: Twig Reflex Save: 1d20 - 10 ⇒ (12) - 10 = 2 The twig slides off the step and apparently through the floor.

We have a slippery substance and an illusionary floor.

*Pulls out pole and starts poking around looking for the dimension of the hole.*

Will to Disbelieve: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

Sovereign Court

Alissa: You successfully see the floor for what it really is, The entire floor of this 20' wide x 30' long room is a pit of green slime, not that green slime. But regular old pond scum.

There are no other exits from this room unless someone wishes to find out how deep this pit goes.

No, I might fall and hurt myself. 8-P

Will save to disbelieve too. Sibstiting my charisma modifier for a higher bonus via my dragon ancestry.

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Wow. Must've had my dunce cap on for that roll.

Sovereign Court

AMS: With a whole lot of help from Alissa, you manage to discern the pond scum from the floor.

Okay.... going to roll again.

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Liberty's Edge

"What are you guys talking about, this is just a floor? Here, let me prove it!" Detect Magic.

Sovereign Court

AMS: That floor looks like the caribbean sea

Nesod: The floor glows with...wait for it.. an illusion aura

Jenny, want to add to your mass?

Liberty's Edge

"Hm. I guess Liss was right." I wink. "As always."

I guess we could just go through the illusion and see what's on the other side.

If you want to swim in slime, go ahead.

Sounds good. I slobber down the stairs into the mucus... if my companions are not in my way.

Liberty's Edge

I'll get out of the way if Jenny gives us time to do so.

"Alright, who can jump the best? Am S, you're not wearing armor, so..."

Is the slime pit the only thing here or is there an exit from the room.
Search for Hidden Switches: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32

Sovereign Court

Jenny: Using your pond scum linguistic ability you are able to discern that there is no exit through the slime. But it does feel invigorating to soak in the pond.

If you are damaged this pond will heal you

Alissa: You are 100% positive that there are no other exits from this room, you know this because strangely you manage to see through the pond scum as if you had x-ray vision.
