Looking to join a level 1 game?

This is really my first time posting here and looking at the threads feels a little intimidating, but I am looking to join a game with my level 1 ranger, and hopfully doing part 1 of Quest for Perfecting since i have parts 2 and 3 finished (though only 2 shows up on my profile)

I have a ton of questions, mostly cause the people I played with tabletop did such a poor job explaining what I do with this gold, can I use it to buy anyhting I want or only the stuff on my sheets?

If you have enough gold, you can buy anything on the chronicle sheet, any items that are considered "Always Available", and regular +1 Weapons / +1 Armor.

There is also a mechanic in PFS that limits any other item purchases according to how much "Fame" you have.

You can buy any items that are listed in the Core book and other "approved additional resources," with a limit of the GP value set by your Fame. All mundane equipment is always allowed. The chronicle sheets just highlight some story-specific items, sometimes available at a reduced price (such as a wand with fewer charges than usual).
