Greetings all! I myself am new to PFS. PBP, however, done quite a lot of PBP in other RPGs. The disappointing thing I keep having is that I can't find games. I'm still working on making new characters and all, yet my current submissions don't get accepted.
It might be because he is a Gunslinger though. But, an issue I've run in to is tweaking my character sheets to feet each GM. Which is understandable though, I GM'ed some Star Wars, so I know that each GM has their own flavor to spicing up campaigns. One thing that's always hard to overcome in PBP, that is nearly impossible to eliminate, is access to resources. Some players have more than others, getting different traits, feats, spells, or archetypes. Newer players can get discouraged my this. In my experience the most helpful thing is when a GM either limits to specific resources or provides them in the campaign.
On a side note, any GMs looking to recruit new and creative players can count me in. I love writing and dreaming up new stories and experiences. Also, would greatly appreciate any PFS advice.

The vast majority of PBP games are recruited for in the recruitment forum. Once you start to play in a few games, you may be privately invited by certain GMs or find a stable group to play multiple games with, but aside from that, it's mostly the recruitment forum.
Check out this thread about the First Official PBP Gameday, on this note!
I don't believe any classes are frowned upon globally speaking, although use your discretion in this. Obviously a super cheesed out heavens oracle / slumber hex witch / maximally optimised summoner or some such is going to cause some people to grumble. But so long as your character can participate pretty decently both in and out of combat, and isn't a total show-stealer (making it boring for everyone else), you should be fine.
Purchase extra resources as you need them. You need to legally own a copy of any non-core book you use material from (either hard copy or PDF), so you don't really need to worry unless you're looking beyond core stuff. (Archives of Nethys is a good site to browse when you're looking around for non-core stuff you might not yet own, it also handily marks what's PFS legal.)
Most PBPs run on an honour system whereby GMs assume you own all the material you're using and that your chronicles are all correct, although you have to expect that if a GM asked to see your chronicles or evidence that you own a given book, you should be able to provide it.

Alice has some great advice. However, armless, I wonder if you have read the basic information on PFS, such as the player resources webpages on Paizo's site. Have you downloaded the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play? If not, start there.
Regarding what you can play and which resources are available to players, there is a list HERE.

I concur with Rah, Armless. You need to read the guide. There are also a lot of errors on your character sheet.
For one, you only get 150 gp starting gold per PFS guidelines. Luckily, you can still buy everything on your list with ~14 gp to spare.
Your skills are off, you are not accounting for Class skills and giving the proper bonus. Canter is not as strong of a trait as you want it to be. You should re-read it.
The archetype you are looking for is "Musket Master." Musketeer is a Cavalier archetype and is not legal in PFS.
You also get a bonus language to select too!
So here is what your PC stats should look like, if I'm guessing correctly
Reigar Brolo

I will say that a good number of GM's don't like gunslingers. I know I don't like them. Unless there are 6 or less players in a game, I will almost never select a gunslinger. Many GM's have their reasons, but they mostly boil down to "Don't get your guns in my swords & sorcery!"
Good luck with the game day!

A lot of those errors come from tweaks I've had to makes switching campaigns. A few have had roll for wealth. Skills I was led to believe were my class granted of 4 + INT Mod 1 and that class Skills recieved a +3 bonus on check rolls. I have downloaded a lot of those resources. I have the guide for PFS, must have interpreted some things wrong and also missed some changes when switching DM rules. I see, Canter only applies to secret messages. Might need to find something better there. I'll correct those mistakes after work. Thanks for noticing that, I had somebody else message me on my Skills but it was something different than that.

Armless, one of the PBP GMs named Dakcenturi posted an excellent primer for online play HERE.
Regarding Gunslingers, I personally think they are interesting and have no trouble with them in my games. I have noticed many GMs (and players) hold the same feeling as Nebten illustrated about "guns in sword and sorcery", yet many forget that some of the best examples of fantasy incorporated fireworks and gunpowder. The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and even The Wheel of Time series for example. Going into classic D&D, the legendary Murlynd carried two pistols, which he called "45's" or "six shooters".

Generally the best advice for finding a game is to check up on the Recruitment threads often, and to look at the 2 most recent pages. So many posts are there, that a newer thread can quickly get pushed down the list and is easily hidden. Typically start looking for threads that have under 15-20 posts, first.
Once there, find out if it is an open game or not. Some people already have an existing player base and are not opening a recruitment thread to find new players, but rather to make a marker until they are ready to open their game.
If it is one looking for players, then see if it is one that is seeking submissions or is first come, first serve. Submissions are generally harder to get in, because the GM is typically looking for certain things from their players/characters, but generally not going to say what they are so that everyone doesn't do a lot of the same thing. (Ususally they are looking for things like a strong, long precious snowflake backstory. or mechanics sort of along some theme, but might also be looking to avoid certain classes, with Summoner, Magus, and Gunslinger on the far top of the lists for their well earned reputations).
After all of that, assuming you do not make the cut, the best thing you can do is to ask the DM, non-confrontationally if they can give you honest feedback why. That might help you to get into another game later.
I had made a long post with a lot of tips, suggestions, and advice for PbP. I'll see if I can find that somewhere and repost it.
Another thing you may try, and I am not sure how successful this is, though I see it done fairly regularly, is to make a post in the Recruitment threads asking for a group to add you in.
