In the core rulebook it lists the hireling daily cost in SP, but in Ultimate Equipment it lists the daily cost in GP. Which one is accurate. I am talking about in the PRD if that makes a difference.

That's a tough question. It really comes down to which books has precedence over the other. I'm inclined to say the Core Rulebook does, myself, but many will probably argue that UE, being a newer book, has precedence. Lacking a hard ruling for this or a post from the developers (or a post from someone that's heard something from the developers on what takes precedence), I would say take it to your GM for a decision. Though I have to say SP makes more sense, as most commoners' wages are in SP. GP would be excessive (like paying minimum wage workers in hundreds of dollars per hour rather than ~ten dollars per hour).

Only because it has never been answered on this thread, I want to clarify the answer for anyone else who happens to be researching this answer like I just was ...
The official Ultimate Equipment Errata (available on the Paizo website) says:

Quote:
Page 98—In the hireling entry, change the price to “1 sp–3 sp per day”.
