I'm going to have a stretch of 2.5 months this summer where I will have either a lot of free time or a tremendous amount of free time, and I'm looking to get into PBP.
Never done this or anything like it before, not even sure if this is the right forum to ask this question (the PBP forums I saw seemed to be entirely comprised of game-specific discussions). How does this typically go? Where would I look if I'm interested in playing one?

To just somewhat blithely reply to the title only: Pretty well actually, but a bit slowly.
Having a lot of free time isn't necessarily a big asset when it comes to play-by-post; usually you only post once a day or so.
