Any chance we could ever see a deluxe boxed set of supplementary material for Kaer-Maga? There are a number of PFS scenarios where Kaer-Maga is the setting... as a GM I would love to have, at my disposal, the following in a deluxe boxed set:
- Large, folded maps of featured locations or buildings within the city.
- A small set of NPC Pawns for denizens unique to the city and it's underground environs.
- Package either the existing City of Secrets sourcebook or create a new one, expanded with even more information.
There could be a seperate, related AP or more PFS scenarios to make it more worthwhile.
Would anyone else on the forums here like to see this?

Such a product must also tap Mr. Sutter's newfound influence from Kowloon walled city.
Count me in. Maybe not a boxed set, but a hardcover with fold out map, and an interactive PDF of internal maps. Heavy on the dungeon feel, even in the city.
Set more PFS there for a season or two to generate material if you need to.
Love me some Kaer Maga.

Blithely ignoring Vic's post above. Yes - I'd love it. :)

(That doesn't, however, rule out a Kaer Maga Map Folio, or pawns tied to something set in Kaer Maga, or more Kaer Maga sourcebook-type material—it just means that sticking them all together in a bog box isn't likely.)
Vic, thanks for explaining the reality from a production/retailing point of view as to why Paizo doesn't produce these types of items. I am sure there is also an overhead for assembling the individual parts of the product as well (into the box).
A fella can dream though. ;-) I hope we do see more material for Kaer-Maga, even if it isn't going to be a boxed set... it's a unique fantasy city that can be peeled back like an onion, layer by layer... I look forward to seeing more of it in the future!
How annoying is it for the production staff to receive "I wish for a X product" type postings?

I suspect that sometimes, not always, they have days where they sit back and think "What on earth are we gonna do next? We've already done this year's bestiary... Hmmm."
And even if they have their own ideas on what to do, customer suggestions might break a tie between two potential products.
I've seen many suggestions made by myself and others that became products. Whether or not it was because they saw my suggestion or it was just a logical, parallel development doesn't matter; I got what I wanted. :)

Well, in that case, if there is a revised supplement for Kaer-Maga released, I would humbly submit this... due to some of the more adult themes going on in that city, there could be an additional supplement published and sold in PDF format (only via Paizo's store) that covers things like the Tallow Boys, The Strapping Lad, and The White Lady for adult customers who want to, ah, feature these things prominently in their campaign.
Oh, and I second maps for the "under city" of Kaer-Maga... I just don't think about smut all day you know. :-)

I trust Paizo to continue presenting material in the PG-13 / R range tastefully, without having to put it in a separate book. They've been great at this. And I really don't want to see it go further, that pushes the limits of what is useful material in the average gaming group. (They already push it too far for some)

As the guy who made up Kaer Maga, seeing people ask for more--even if we can't always provide it in the medium requested, or in a prompt manner--makes me really, really happy. Seeing people get excited about the places we've created is why we all got into this job. :)
So by all means--request whatever you'd like to see! We do indeed take public demand into consideration when deciding what to do next. The flip side, of course, is that we can't always give folks what they want immediately, but I trust everyone on these boards to understand that.
Anyway, thanks for waving the Kaer Maga banner! I'm currently writing something set there right now... :)

Yeah, but it's probably a wash, balanced against the benefit of moving a single item around instead of lots of items.

In case anyone didn't know, the Shattered Star Map Folio has a quite decent map of Kaer Maga in it. I nearly cried when I left it at home the last time I ran City of Strangers (PFS #51 & #52).
On the topic - I've enjoyed every treatment of Kaer Maga I've seen to date (Pathfinder Journal, PFS Scenarios, City of Strangers, Godsmouth Heresy). It's an extremely lush setting and there's always a surprise around the corner. More please.

I loved Kaer Maga so much, I wrote/assembled an entire book for my Rise of the Runelords game that's set in Kaer Maga, called "Seven Swords of Sin."
Here's my outline of the book if anyone is interested in stealing this idea...

I'd instantly buy an expanded City of Strangers, even though I have the original. A player's guide to Kaer Maga would be even better, but that would probably mean an entire Kaer Maga adventure path... which I'm not saying no too.
I don't really expect either of those, though.
I'm happy with the bits of information we've been getting in places like Shattered Star and the Inner Sea Bestiary, but another adventure set in Kaer Maga would be awesome, especially if it's an introductory adventure.
I'm currently writing something set there right now... :)
Speaking as someone who normally ignores gaming novels, I'm going to buy the hell out of that. Honestly, if it were just the sequel to Death's Heretic or just set in Kaer Maga, I'd still buy the hell out of it.
With both, I'm looking forward to it about as much as the next Dresden Files book. No pressure :)
Cheers!
