So is anyone interested in playing this game other then me?

Sovereign Court

Some links would be nice...

Once (if) it gets a PC release, absolutely.

Link

Totally. I'll even pre-order it if they include an art book.

*hides*

Well I am glad I am not alone.

I hope there is a larger variety of monsters but what I have seen so far...

Bats
Snakes
Scorpions
Goblins
Hobgoblins/Orcs
Ogres/Bugbears
Skeletons
Magicians
Lizardmen
Smilodons
Giant Wasp
Wood Golems
Owlbears
Lesser Demons
Myconoids
Stone(or metal) Golems

Bosses
Minotaur
Medusa
Chimera
Giant Octopus/Kraken
Red Dragon
Demon
Beholder
Genie
Grim Reaper
Giant Demon(Final Boss?)

I'm still super busy with Dragon's Dogma:Dark Arisen, but this will probably be the next.

It comes out August 6th so I think you have time;)

I played Muramasa: The Demon Blade (also by Vanillaware) for the Wii. For a standard definition game, it had pretty mind-blowing visuals, so I'm excited to see what they can do on a PS3. I just hope the controls are better than Muramasa's though.

So getting this game

Loved them from odin sphere. Wish I had a ps3 for this game. Also wuv the sorceress.

I think that'll be a given (and the definitive edition of Muramasa is coming out on the Vita soon) - with real controls.

Definitely looking forward to Dragon's Crown.

OK, now i'm sure, i'll take Dragon's Crown. It has coop mode right?
Than we need to share PSN contact :)

Yep, up to 4 player co-op.

Note: There is NO PS3/VITA cross-play.
So PS3 with PS3 players, VITA with VITA players.

I really wish they would have the muramasa game on the PS3 as well.

I know you can equip weapons and armor but I hope you also get slots for boots, amulets, rings, Belts and maybe even cloaks/mantles/capes.

Soon, we'll have to start a PSN friends thread.

It's a beautiful-looking game and a Tower of Doom/Shadow Over Mystara style beat-em-up should be right up my alley, but I really don't care for the character design.

And this is not a "Oh my God, the Sorceress has boobs!" reaction. None of the characters come across as "He/She looks awesome, I want to play that one!" They're all just ridiculous-looking to me.

Agreed

I agree with Kalshane on this. Still very interested in the game thought.

I like the character designs, though I am not that big on the amazon or the wizard.

I like the elf and the wizard.

I'd probably go dwarf.

The Amazon has thighs that could crack the world open. :)

I'll admit the Sorceress and Amazon caught my eye. I had to check out the trailer because I'm a fan of the previous games produced by the same company. I challenge anyone to find someone who played Odin's Sphere and didn't like it!

Pssst: The bigger the chick's boobs in these games the more likely she'll be a necromancer.

Big Boobs = Fertile = Life Giving = Raise The Dead

The Sorceress is my favorite, followed by the Elf, not sure who the third would be yet though.

We can also add monstrous fish to monster list, don't know how I missed those guys.

All six Character Movies are on the Japanese Site
The next ones to be English done in this order are
Dwarf, Elf
Wizard, Amazon

I watched the sorceress video a dozen times. My left eye is dried out in its socket.

The elf is female? watches

Yep,

Look at the face and listen to the Voice in the Japanese character video

Thank you azure. .. now I am well and truly blinded by vanillaware....

definitely starting to think about pre-ordering it

I already preordered it on Amazon.com, it says it comes with the artbook but I preordered it a day or two before it said it.

Could pre-order it myself.

Well, We still have to wait until August for this game

I am glad this game got made at all.

Well, everyone's "favorite" retailer, Gamestop, is offering the 64-page artbook with pre-orders. So, I guess I'll have to go put $5 down soon.

Oh and local co-op cements my purchase.

The only question when we do get it is which character is everyone going to play first?

I presume it'll be possible for two (or even three) players using the same char in the same game....they'll probably change color or something like that.

The art book is also available hen you preorder the game on Amazon.com

There are extra color pallets so you can have the same character used multiple times.

I am playing the sorceress first, then the elf, haven't decided who is third.

I wish you could play as the female elf beastmaster and the thief.

For me it'll be probably be:

1) Elf
2) Wizard
3) Fighter or Dwarf

I think I'll play the first 3 characters in this order;
1) Amazon
2) Dwarf or Elf
3) Sorceress or Wizard

This reminds me of Golden Axe (or whatever it was called)from the 80's-90's, just with a lot more polish and sweeter visuals.

The whole game is taken directly from that era; and yes, Golden Axe is one of the inspirations for vanillaware, along with Tower of Doom and Shadows over Mystiara (if this is how it was written).

edit:just read it : the elf has limited arrows ? WT..... we are in the era of UNlimited arrows damn.

Also weapons have durability, I am not sure about armor though.

They are going back to a retro style of gaming, and limited arrows is with that old school style.

That and you can pick up more arrows along the way.

Despite how much I love DD:Dark Arisen, the unlimited standard arrows is the one thing that bugs the heck out of me, given how "realistic" the game is.

I won't touch FaceBook even with a hundred foot pole.

Not a FB-maniac myself, only following game forums (one of many) and posting something once in a while.
