Add-ons and Claim Codes and Rewards --- OhMy!!!

So...

Do we get claim codes for our add-ons that can be used for any account?

Here is why I ask :

Friend of mine juuuust missed the Kickstarter and bemoaned not getting into the Beta. I told him tonight I could add the Adventurer Rewards add-on and he could get in the game a little early. After many YAYs! and WOOTs!, we kinda wondered how this system worked, specifically.

So, if I buy an extra "Twice Marked of Pharasma" add-on, can I give him the code to use for his Adventurer Rewards account?

Hopefully, I searched around enough so this has not already been beaten to death. If not, please forgive a curious Panda? =p

Any help with this would be most welcome - we are plottin' and schemin' over here ! =p

Well, depending on how good a friend he is, you can upgrade to the Crowdforger Buddy or Guild level and get him into Early Enrollment fairly early; of course, you might lose your own spot in EE if you're already at Pioneer and in the first month...

As for the add-ons, I'm not sure.

Well, I pledged to be an alpha tester, so I'm not really worried about my place in line, but I do not want to reduce my pledge or anything...

Just trying to figure out how the assignments and codes will actually work, so we can determine if some extra coolness is an option for him.

It's not clear to me whether you have the Crowdforger Buddy account to give, or whether your friend does.

If your friend pledged at the Crowdforger Buddy level, and you already have a Crowdforger Alpha level, then you definitely do not want him to invite you as his buddy, unless you want a second account.

Sorry, RL Panda, I'm getting my threads confused. If my response didn't make any sense to you, then it's because I was thinking I was in the middle of a different conversation.

The equipment packages are explicitly stated can be sold to other players.

The regional traits and twice marked are essentially "items" that are consumed by a character, not linked to the account. It should work to trade it to a friend. If sweet-talking to a GM is needed, your alpha status should give you plenty of access to them. I wouldn't be worried.

The secret salute though seems linked to the account (not the character) and is likely non-transferable.

EDIT: since the 'twice marked' and the adventurer account in question are part of the same pledge your case seems very solid. Also, I cannot imagine GW wanting to be anything but helpful.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback!

Yup, shiny new titles are kinda nice.

Wowee that's a lot of extra downloads sitting in my downloads folder, many of them I'm very excited about!

Edit: Figured it out now. The shiny Goblin icon and Goblin Squad title only shows up here in the Goblinworks forum. Well, Goblin Squad shows up on my profile page too, but nobody ever goes there.
