With the weather you're having, has your gaming group pressed on?
Since the gaming has been online the weather has not stopped us...
Well except for Tue in which I missed a L5R session :(
And Wed I couldn't run my my PF2E game :(
Due not having power :(
But now the power is back everything is all good.

... and how did it go?
Well I did not to a actually get to play anything till Sat.
Sat was a Vampire game am in. Which was okay. The GM has a different playstyle than my own so it is a meh game for me.
Sunday was a 8 hour slog(meaning as a good thing) through the Shadowlands in L5R. The Shaowlands is the land of oni and goblins and other evil things with a corrupting and pervasive environment. It was fun.

Oh yes. I am well aware of the Shadowlands and the desperate struggle of the Crab Clan to keep them at bay.

Do you know what's messed up? Realizing how "problematic" something you have loved for most of your life is. In my case Flash Gordon (both the Buster Crabbe serial and the Filmation series).
"At its heart this [Flash Gordon] is still the story of a white guy who has to defend his girlfriend from a violent member of an ethnic minority." -- Ben Child
For most of my adult life, I really didn't see it. Now I have trouble not seeing it. :( I am bringing this up again, because last evening, I watched the 1980's Flash Gordon movie.
Has that happened to you?

That is a tough question. I ask for time to think of how to respond to it.

Ah yes the Crab 'we need help!'
Rest of the clans, 'Okay we send help'
Other samurai come to help the Crab
The Crab "You guys suck!"

You should have expected them to be "crabby."

Do you know who invented the Shish Kebab?
Apparently somebody in the Middle East. I don't know who personally came up with the idea though

Narwhals of course!

Did you get the Advanced Player's Guide yet?
If so what did you think of page 192?
I have not brought it yet. Money been tight lately but I have borrowed a friend's copy.
I always loved shadow dancers and it seems all right my only complaint is the Shadow Sneak Attack dice not stacking with other sources of Sneak Attack. I think it will limit rogues who get SA from taking it which makes no sense.

In PF2, if you have sneak attack as a class feature, it advances normally regardless of what feats (archetypal or otherwise) you take. So a rogue that becomes a shadow dancer will have sneak attack the same as a rogue of their level that is not a shadow dancer. I think the feat is there for classes that don't have that feature the ability to pick it up without also taking a rogue dedication.

It sounds like having a built-into-your-noggin phrenology-braille ouija board for talking to deceased mathematicians.
Which now that I think about it, sounds like a specifically perfect curse to inflict on one of FreeholdDM's PFRPG PCs.

True I guess. Though you still need surprise attack(I think it is called) which is what get when you take Rogue dedication(unless that was errata or I am misremembering).
Either way I it is this tight math that makes me meh on PF2E in the first place that a extra d6 of damage is ungodly. It limits the design space that I can do as a GM or a player.

I just skimmed the new APG, but I remember specifically disliking the relatively late character level to even enter it.
Yeah I noticed that too. It is not that big of a deal to me though as my games go to high levels.
But it is odd I would expect to see that level of entry more in Prestige Archerypes.

Have you had a chance to look into the new Tiefling yet?
I have not looked into then in high detail yet but I kinda like the concept of opening it up to all the races

Does anyone has anymore questions for me?
Have you taken an official position on one of the most important issues of our time! - the “Chainmail Bikini” controversy?

I thought I did at that time.
My opinion is....sure it should exist but should provide as much AC as regular clothing.

You did, but you were a different person then.

And, I - not surprisingly - disagree. A chainmail bikini should be just as effective (and limiting) as "normal" armor of the same type.

@Lord Fyre: Okay
Can you be convince to change your stance?I mean o could go into why I have form my opinion but this could be a time to just amicably agree to disagree.
What? That the player's choice is entirely cosmetic i.e., has no game effect what so ever?
Or, does that count as answering your second question?

Yup...just like wearing any other set clothes. But if you want a mechanical effect it could be as simple as
Chainmail Bikini: the wearer gains +1 item bonus to Diplomacy and Bluff checks vs targets who are sexually attracted to them.

Nope. I absolutely do not want a game effect.
I come from being a CHAMPIONS GM, so I don't automatically connect an appearance to a game effect (so, no I don't - and cannot - subscribe the the "realism" school of gaming).
What I don't want is a player pressured into or out of a specific look for his/her character (or vise versa, I don't want any extra penalties form the chainmail bikini look).

And if the bikini top had bullet points, and she Fell on baby goblin orphans, would she have to stand up before immediately Falling again?
Also, when her bullet top rolls for attack vs the goblins, does it roll against normal AC or only against touch AC?
* pulls up stool, sits down for front row seat to massive implosion *

That is a more complicated question.
