Haemish the Unlucky

I apologize for my absence. My prep work for GenCon combined with family obligations have kept me very busy these past few days. Please feel free to GMPC Haemish until I return from GenCon next Monday. If you feel that I will miss too much of the adventure (and therefore shouldn't be eligible for the chronicle), it might be better to just write me out completely. I'm sure I'll get to play it again some other time. Again, apologies.

It is for all characters that achieved 6pp for their faction... so not limited to one.
Oddball issue with the reporting there Hela, my run sessions are all showing up ok for my various players... how annoying for those that got bugged!
I'll get in touch with you after Gencon when the bugs are fixed. I have about 4-5 characters eligible.

I'm not sure I understand the boons. I think I get the Silver Crusade one (a layman's Smite Evil, one time use) right? So once I use that, it is used up and I mark it "off", is that correct? And it doesn't matter that Kishara didn't "save the people of Varisia with the help of Ollysta Zadrian"?

So first there was GenCon, and then there was the recovery from GenCon. Both are over now (whew!) and I am available again for play. Should I jump in or wait for the next one to come around?

Fosters is Australian for 'Export only'.
While we're on the subject, I'm guessing that the microbrew community has taken off in Australia as much as it has here in the States?

Nice! Don't know if you saw what a bar/restaurant in Indianapolis did for GenCon this year: Scotty's Menu

Pretty cool!
That's pretty much what Young Henrys did for the con too, slow cooked and smoked meats etc, to make fine rustic style Golarion fare to go with the beers. Most people found teh last session fo the day to be a bit of a struggle... pumps open 9am, games finish 10pm. Nasty :p

I'm trying to do the math on getting a PFS two day event down at Jervis Bay right on the beach in tents. It CAN be done and isn't that far of a drive, just hard to convince most gamers to go sit oceanside for a while - they tend to grumble, want aircon, and access to a snack bar.
Reckon it would be sweet for some nautical themes scenarios.

Not sure, as I say, still doing math. I know that if I aimed for tallow Beach in Bouddi National Park (Central coast) you can have beach bonfires.
I have a Taj-mahal sized tent as well, but in summer about the most you need is really a groundsheet/sleeping bag to lay on (to hot to be in) and a hootchie. I normally just roll out my sleeping bag and bivvy and rack out that way.
I'm adding it to my project list.
[edit - or Tallow Beach - could book all the sites perhaps.[/url]

Sounds perfect for a Razor Coast marathon armageddon ;)
Snacks are easy with an esky anyhow... or an Engel if they're really picky!

I reckon if someone didn't hump the rations down themselves they don't get to be picky :p That's the problem with some of the smaller sites, carting stuff.
Hela, hadn't got that far yet...! I supose it comes down to how much interest there is in the idea. On a side note, I went to an art and sculpture outdoor exhibit at Clarkes Point (Woolwich) the other day and the location is spectacular right on the harbour with awesome views of everything. Even on a perfect sunny day and with an event on there were bugger all people there - has BBQ facilities and loads of parking, reckon an end of year BBQ and game session could be the go as well. Or even just a BBQ/

| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
A group just entering the last part now, B group not far behind.
Probably a good time for Day Job rolls.
On a side note, I will be away between 27 Sep to 6 Oct most likely, so will be pretty much stuck on radio silence (or only occasional check ins) so wont be running anything over that period.
In short, happy to roll straight into the next scenario and take a break in the middle, or take a few weeks off then start Act 2 when I return. Let me know what you guys would prefer!

Stuff has hit the fan for me work wise... will not be posting for at least another 12-24 hrs. But it seems we are taking a break... which is ok by me if you still want to keep me.
Shifty, if I give you screen shots or emails etc, can you do the chronicles for the RR Series for me?
