I didn't like the tank, even though she obviously is mathematically the best choice. I just can't stomach looking at a fully armored female.
Adapting the cover-based FPS for the ranger was a nice touch, but I'm not sure the launch velocity of the hand trebuchet is reasonable for large projectiles (200#+)
Providing everyone with the 60- second stunlock was a bit excessive, maybe there should be a cool down on it.
Rogue stealth seems a little underpowered; maybe it should do something besides make them slow and crouched over?
In the cases where monk weapons are useable by a non-monk, they should have more appopriate abilities rather than the monk abilities.
Lightning bolt melting holes in metal armor is a nice touch, but not in line with the incinerating of everything that fireball does.
Fireball, while I'm on the subject, should have a more intuitive shape. If a sphere isn't easy to implement, a cube could be used, but something simpler than a torus to place.
Orb spells intuit as single-target, but not long-duration. We all know that an acid arrow has a DoT component, but we aren't expecting acid orb to have a self-stacking one. (even if it makes sense for HFl to mess people up)
Otherwise, the differentiation between the play styles is good, but I wonder about using a different control scheme for each class. Many people without flight sticks will want to play wizards, and it's already hard to find USB Power Gloves.
Last, what is up with the billboards cross-promoting RPG products? I'm less likely to buy minis from some guy's EBay store if he's buying a virtual billboard...
So, if you've gotten this far, note that you have to drop the first paragraph to form a proper acrostic.

How much damage did you take while playing? We've implemented an armor-damage system that should eventually turn her armor into plate more similar to other MMOS and, at the lowest decay settings, a chainmail bikini. We figured that was the only way to please everyone.

This will be tuned for release. We figured Rangers might be a good way to test the siege systems on a smaller scale, but the speeds may look weird for that reason. All the crates scattered around the arena are meant to represent settlement walls.

We're experimenting with putting stun resistance on a week-long decay system, so after a few matches you should be getting stunned for a much shorter duration.

In order to properly allow full Stealth granularity without worrying about client hacks, we're just putting everyone on the honor system. If you see someone crouched, just pretend you don't see him, just like you would if you were at a Vampire LARP and saw a guy with his arms crossed on his chest.

Included for playtesting. Obviously, at launch, other classes will get much better attacks than the Monk gets with Monk weapons.
Lightning bolt melting holes in metal armor is a nice touch, but not in line with the incinerating of everything that fireball does.
At launch, Fireball will be a 5% rarer drop than Lightning Bolt, so we figure it's roughly balanced.
Fireball, while I'm on the subject, should have a more intuitive shape. If a sphere isn't easy to implement, a cube could be used, but something simpler than a torus to place.
Should be fixed in next patch. We tried to test Mbando's suggestion of AoE damage falling off by distance, and accidentally set Distance From Center as increasing rather than decreasing the damage.

You were presumably on the Rogue? We decided to balance near-immunity to AoE spells with pathetic vulnerability to single-target DoTs. We're framing it lore-wise as the perils of substance abuse that are rampant in Thieves' Guilds.
Otherwise, the differentiation between the play styles is good, but I wonder about using a different control scheme for each class. Many people without flight sticks will want to play wizards, and it's already hard to find USB Power Gloves.
The flight stick was the most elegant way we found to allow the 3D AoE targeting that was requested. You should also be able to sub in a standard console controller with sticks for slightly less fine control. At launch, we're hoping to have a Goblinworks-branded Power Glove available for sale in the store, with different versions to look like gauntlets of Hellknights and Knights of Iomedae.

At launch, you'll hopefully see much less immersion-breaking billboards. We're talking to various Medieval-dinner-and-a-joust restaurants and several Rennaisance Faires, for example. Hopefully, you can roleplay those as something in-setting.

Kobold Catgirl |

I just can't believe how lame the kobold paladin was in that demo. He got squashed in the first fight he was in! This is horrifically unrealistic and must be fixed immediately. Never would've happened in First Edition, y'know.
I was pretty impressed with the way you incorporated Friendship into the game, though. I have high hopes for the Unicorn Cleric of Discord I'm planning to play. The FPS controls with the Party Cannon were awesome, but I was a bit disappointed--it seems like anybody will be able to use these things, thus opening the door for Goon (and parasprite) swarms.
