Printable battlemaps and VT maps for Pathfinder Society - Feast of Sigils
Maps By: Bwatford
Program Used: Dunjinni
If you use these please leave a comment.
.JPG Preview = Small preview of the entire map. Lets you see the content before downloading the larger files.
PDF Battlemap = Suitable for printing and assembly on standard sized paper.
PNG High resolution = Exported map image at 200dpi .PNG images. These images will serve two purposes.
First - If someone wants to take the file to a print shop or kinkos they can be printed out on a large format printer and will print to scale at 1" per 5 foot for use with miniatures. That way you get one map without having to put the pdf together however this option can get expensive.
Second - If you want to use them for VT you can scale them down depending on the VT you are using. Most virtual tabletop programs tend to use maps at 50 or 100 pixels per grid square. Battlegrounds works best with maps that are 122 pixels per grid square (this ensures no pixelation even at full zoom). The images I will be uploading is at 200 pixels per grid so they will scale down to whatever you will need, just use a graphics program to re-size the images. I don't suggest using .JPG as they will loose a lot of clarity.

Those are awesome maps, thanks for sharing them! If you haven't already done so, please consider adding them to the GM Shared Prep thread/drive.
I'm always looking for ways to make better maps, so I'm wondering what, if any, other programs you used for effects.

@ Myron Pauls
The maps are made using Dundjinni 100%. I did make some of the art like the Sihedron on the table and in the basement temple in paint.net prior to importing it into Dundjinni.
I will also add them to the GM Prep Area.
I also just finished up maps for the entire Rise of The Runelords - Hook Mountain Horror AP

Wow, very cool, I have some printouts I've made from the original maps, but these are super nice quality. I'm going to be running this over the weekend at BookWyrm Con and I'll print these out for this that :D
The pedestal which you've placed for the sehedron to stand on is.. rather tall which might make it difficult to get to in a pinch. I'll probably edit them out myself

PDF Printing Tips
- For Inkjets -
I use Kodak Photo Paper Gloss, this is the cheap stuff. Like 100 sheets for $12.99. Set your printer settings to premium photo paper and away you go. If you use plain paper inkjets tend to print too dark and the paper soaks up to much ink. Even on cardstock the prints do not look near as good.
- For Lasers -
You can use plain paper or cardstock whichever you prefer and the prints come out fine. For best results use brochure paper which has the special coating and the prints will look their best.
- Other Tips -
Once I cut out and tape the sections together for the entire map I usually roll these up and place inside a mailing/poster tube for storage. At the session I unroll the map place paperweights on the corners (dragon ones are nice) and then cover the map with pieces of construction paper and unhide as the PC's explore.
Just my 2 cents....

Curses! I was hoping I'd be able to show up the author's table with my super-snazzy maps. Now I guess I'll just try to TPK my table before you can. :)

@ Dennis Baker
I was just going to make the Sihedron command word activated rather than lifting the cloth. Seems it would be a little easier and safer for handling.
Example: saying the command word removes the cloth and activates the Sihedron (Kinda like a stored/triggered magehand?)
Was also going to use it as a roleplay element during the feast and try to get one of the players or participant if the players don't cooperate. To say the command word by some means. Make it part of the feast. Maybe it is written on a piece of parchment to complete the ritual, etc.

Yours will probably be snazzier than mine regardless, mine are printed on my laser printer in B&W and the basement is a bit marked up from prior use.

Please see my post above for printing tips. Just ran a copy of the basement on inkjet cheap gloss photo paper and was perfect. Also ran one on the laser on plain paper and was a little dark but usable.
I guess it's just my printer. I just use plain paper and even after lightening the colors quite a bit in Gimp before printing, the alleyway still looks nearly black and shadows are quite dark. The basement is on average much darker.
