I came to work with my hair down today and I'm already getting compliments on it. I guess people do notice when I change stuff. I've got my scrunchies with me though in case it gets too hot.

I cut my hair and wear it down and people are acting like I did something major. Some are even asking if I had it colored.....no, I just had the crap chopped off. So now everyone wants to touch it.....

Yeah.....so Henry and I have been talking while stuck in all this traffic and have decided we're not RV people. I'm not a road trip girl....so, Henry and I will take like three weeks and fly out to San Diego next July for the Comic-Con thingy with our friends that we will meet there....if they go. If not, then instead we'll visit with friend's and family. And redo our trip to Disneyland that was ruined by me being in a wheelchair and the people we were with. I'm also not a strange people kind of person. I'm okay in small groups of people that I know. Not large masses of strange people.

The Comic-Con sounded like fun in theory....but I'd probably end up punching out the first person dressed up like a zombie that got too close to me. I got a thing about Zombies....I don't like them. I don't want to go to a place where I might be surrounded by them....especially with all this walking dead fanaticism going on and stuff. That's just not my thing. I think I was more excited about the prospect of going to CA than the Comic-Con....but....it's our anniversary and I don't want to spend it around a bunch of people I don't know and stuck in an RV with a bunch of sweaty people going through the dessert to try and see Area 51 or whatever the hell it is James thinks he's gonna find out there. I'm just not interested it.

Also....I was talking to my best friend Misty...and found out that her father died back in February and she had another baby girl in February as well. She just didn't tell me sooner because she knew how hard Henry and I were trying to have a baby and she knew how upset I was when it didn't happen and was afraid if she told me it would make me feel worse. I told her she was being silly and that I was happy for her. Whether I have babies or not...it doesn't mean I can't be happy for my friends and be happy for them and their own little blessings.

So now I feel like I really really have to go out there next year...no matter what. My own best friend kept stuff from me because she thought it would hurt too much...or because she thought it would make my own issues worse...I don't know. I just feel bad that she thought she had to hide it from me.

I know...it's just...we never kept anything from each other before. I guess that's also why she sent that baby making kit to me. She felt guilty for having two babies while I couldn't even have one....I mean..shouldn't she have known that I would be happy for her?

No I don't. But between the day being busy as hells and not sleeping well the night before, I was just utterly exhausted. Like I said, I was about two steps from hooking up an IV drip of caffeine to stay awake.

Awwwww.....well, I get it. I still have a hard time sleeping at night. I've been getting stuffed up again and work has just been.....insane. It's a full moon tonight and it's showing in the way the kids have been acting. I hope your week gets better. The more tired I get though....it seems like my body pumps out more adrenaline to keep me awake....but once I finally get home and relax and it wears off....it feels like a total crash.

Speaking of crashing.....I'm not really sure what I did except for trip over a few kids and whatever else I did to my body throughout the day....but my lower back started hurting this afternoon....like muscle spasm hurting and so because I got a 25 dollar gift card from the owner because I was willing to participate in some kind of thing for her daughter who's going to school to be a dental hygienist....yeah I know what you're thinking, 'What? Karen willingly go to some dental student to have stuff done for them to be graded on?' Well..yeah...since Julia was gonna pay anyone that qualified for the study 250 bucks in cash....there's not much I wouldn't do for that kind of extra money...but while we were on our way there today her daughter called and said that the school had already found someone for her boards and scheduled them at the last minute without telling her so she didn't need us after all. This was after them telling her that she would need to find all her own patients for her graded stuff. Ms. Julia said that in the past whenever they've done that they've had trouble with them showing up and she had to go down there at the last minute so that her daughter wouldn't be put behind or whatever in getting her clinicals done. I don't know....all I know is that I was out $250 bucks, but because I was willing to do it...even though everyone knows how terrified of the dentist I am....Ms. Julia gave me a $25 gift card so Henry and I went out to eat and then we came home and because I was hurting so much I took a flexeril for the muscle spasms, and a tramadol to try and ease the pain so if I don't make much sense or I pass out early....that's why. I sorry.

Well.....I sorta rested well. I went to sleep fairly easily since Henry was in the bed playing pokemon on his DS. Somehow listening or watching him play video games helps me relax and go to sleep. However, it's hard to stay asleep with a dog crawling all over you, waking up at like 2:30 in the morning to go to the bathroom, and feeling all hot and stuff. So....because I took the flexeril and tramadol last night, when I got up this morning I was super groggy. Still kinda am....so breakfast this morning is oatmeal, a few whole wheat crackers with some laughing cow cheese spread, and a half of cup of diluted coffee cuz the person that makes it before I get here makes it too strong.

Had to get Henry some pants, some stuff for our lunches, some individual peanut and dairy free little packages of cookies for the kids in my class for their Party on Friday. I didn't want to get them candy or anything like that, and I got a few new shirts plus another pair of pants for work. I picked out the pretty purple shirt with the sparkly butterfly on it...you know...cuz it sparkles...and Henry really liked the other two shirts that are kinda...well...it's like a pretty design on a shell type shirt that's sewn into like a solid color shirt...I wanted some pretty and comfortable things I could wear to work that I haven't worn like a billion times and that would look kind of Springish.

We came home, put stuff away, I paid one of my medical bills off, took a shower and am waiting for my hair to dry the rest of the way before going to bed since I run a fan in my room year round. I've been waking up at like 2 in the morning being all hot and sweaty....so I'd rather avoid that, and I took a flexeril at like 9 to help with the back spasms I've been having off and on, hence the hot shower to soothe said muscles. Henry rubbing lavender oil into them helped as well..hims loves me so much!

Now Henry is in bed...and probably close to sleep since he kicked the dog out...and I should be going there soon...I just needed some more water first and I'm sorry that I'm talking like nine million miles a minute...I just can't seem to help myself. Forgiveness pwease!
