1 person marked this as a favorite. |

I wanted to take a minute to welcome the new VC of Lexington, KY, Christopher Rowe. His region will consist of most of central Kentucky, including Frankfort, Richmond, and possibly as far south as Somerset. He will also assist Louisville remotely until we can find a VC or VL interested in taking the position there.
I will let Chris introduce himself, advise what websites he will use to coordinate PFS in his region, etc...
Welcome aboard!

Thanks, Mike. (And thanks for the congrats, Seth.)
I'm Christopher Rowe, a professional sf/fantasy writer living in Lexington, Kentucky with my wife, YA novelist Gwenda Bond. I've been a finalist for the Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy Awards and I've been playing RPGs since the early 1980s. In all that time, of all the games I've played, Pathfinder is by far my favorite.
Our internet presence is unfortunately dispersed over several different sites and lists at the moment, something I'll be working to rectify as I poll the local player population to determine what works best for them. For now, our Facebook group (search Lexington PFS) is one good way to keep up with what's going on. I also maintain an e-mail list for local players: just message me here with your e-mail address to be added to that if you wish.
I look forward to working with Mike, the other venture-officers, and all the stakeholders in the campaign, at the local level and beyond, to grow the Pathfinder Society in Lexington and Central Kentucky.

I think Mike is building an Army of Red Shirts to sacrifice one day in some evil plot he is brewing...
And Congrats Chris, I will miss you after your sacrifice to Mike's evil Plan... ;)

Here is the web site for Lexington's D20 Hobbies RPG days:
http://www.meetup.com/dnd-54/
They run PFS every Tuesday night. They run a once a month Saturday session (June 15th is the next). They run a once a month Sunday session (not sure which is the next).
The VC event organizer contact information:
Christopher Rowe <cvrowe@gmail.com>
I've been able to attend one of the Saturday sessions. The group there was a really good group and Christopher was an excellent GM. I felt nothing but welcome and "one of the group".
