PFS Magus with Whip for Reach

Is Piranha Strike PFS Legal? If so then it would be a decent choice to try and up the damage potential of a DEX Based Whip Magus.

I was looking to build a Tiefling Whip Magus/Rogue (not for PFS, for our Pen & Paper game) but found it Feat intensive as has already been stated. Funny thing is, I didn't even think about using the Kensai to augment the Feats, but then went ahead and built a Wakizashi Kensai instead. No one ever accused me of being the sharpest eraser in the pencil case...

Doesn't Piranha Strike have to be used with a light weapon? Whips, despite being finessable, are still 1-h weapons.

You are correct, my bad. For some reason I thought that Whips were Light Weapons... :/

Whips are odd. Finessable despite being 1-h, exotic, and having several non-standard special rules involved in their use. I forgot a few weeks ago that they were exotic weapons and thought they were martial so I designed a build to fast-track the whip mastery and combat patrol feats while entirely forgetting that what I designed lacked whip proficiency.

Don't forget that you can two hand them. Which has always seemed a bit comical to me.
