Come and be welcome, thesmallonerae!!
One thing to remember, and the Additional Resources document points this out, is that you need to bring the rules that you're using to the table for the GM to see. So, if you're playing, say, a oni-spawn Tiefling soul-forger magus to the table, you'll need to bring Ultimate Magic, and Ultimate Combat, and Blood of Fiends. (Either the physical books, PDFs on some sort of readble device the GM can access, or print-outs from a PDF that you own.)
When you get through your first PFS adventure, please come back here and tell us how it went!

I need to give you a warning about playing a Magus. Some GMs have little to no idea on how spell combat and spell strike work. Be prepared to explain it and if possible, have some 'cheat sheets' as a example.
If possible, I like to run the Magus mechanics pass the GM before the game starts. Just to make sure there well be no problems during the game.
