We are (finally!) starting this AP this Sunday, and this is our party:

Akariel Wrona- CG Half-Elf Magus (Bladebound); Herald from the fey courts, a knight of summer.

Grag- CN Half-Orc Oracle (Volcano mystery); startled by the early winter in his country, Grag is seeking the source of this phenomenon.

La Gorda- Changeling Witch (Beastbound/Spirits); no further information yet.

Pablo Esteban de Raichardt- Halfling Bard (Arcane Duelist); Director, founder and perfomer in Granite Orchestra, circus that is run by him and....

Upi Lunkka- N Dwarf Hunter; ...the other member of Granite Orchestra, animal wrangler who has a sad backstory of continued abandonment.

Luscenzo- N Mammoth (Scarred Companion); Upi's animal companion, even sadder mammoth that accompanies Upi.

You might have problems with the snow and cold. None of your party is optimized for the environment.

Boreal Sorcerer in the party, and as for race, he's a custom. Made it with the Advanced Race Guide.
1

Trollan (based on Orko from the old series He Man and the Masters of the Universe)
Flight 30 perfect
+4 Charisma, +2 Dexterity, -2 Wisdom, -4 Strength
Light Blindness
Darkvision 60'
Size small, Outsider

Oh, he picked Mage Armor, Burning Hands for his 1st level spells, and Acid Splash, Detect Magic, Daze, Flare for his 0 level spells.

Took Combat Casting for his feat.

Magic is Life, Warded Against Witchery character traits.

Bluff, Fly, Spellcraft, and Use Magic Device are his skills.

2
Just made a goblin Unchained Rogue (Knife Master archetype).

Took Iron Will for her feat.

Indomitable Will, and haven't picked the other character trait. Got any advice as to which one she should take?

Acrobatics, Appraise, Bluff, Climb, Disable Device, Disguise, Dungeoneering, Local, Perception, Stealth are her skills.

I allowed her to buy a Travel Cloak, which among other things gives her 5 cold resistance, for 1200gp.

3
The next party member is an Arctic archetype Druid, an aasimar variant called garuda blooded I think. He gave up his animal companion in favor of the Water domain, took Toughness as his feat. As his character traits he took Armor Expert and Vigilante Witch Hunter. His skills are Climb, Heal, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival.

Finally, the last party member is a straight up Ranger, combat style archery. His race is a custom one:

Wood Elf +2 Strength, +2 Dexterity, -2 Intelligence, Woodcraft trait from the ARG replaces Elven Magic. He also gave up his elven immunity for cold resistance 5, his only real concession to the game environment.

He took Iron Will as his feat, and Indomitable Faith, Warded Against Witchery as his character traits. He took for skills Climb, Handle Animal, Nature, Perception, Spellcraft, Stealth, and Survival.

4
He chose a angelkin aasimar Paladin. Spent his feat on bastard sword prof, and his character traits are Armor Expert and Restless Wayfarer. His skills are Diplomacy, heal, geography, religion, and sense motive.

So finally we have a archery Ranger, a standard Paladin, a Knife Master Rogue, a Boreal Sorcerer, and an Arctic Druid. All have or will have very soon 5 points of cold resistance, but none of them are human.

As we have now played about 8 sessions, we are about halfway through second book. We have managed very well- most of them have pretty good fort, they stocked very fast on winter coats and furs and one of them already has pretty good save against cold weather via racial traits and whatnot.

Upi Lunkka is a monster in a battle, for about 3 rounds before his afflicted companino pukes and Upi (more often than usual) gets stunned. Pretty much at this level they start to turn to pretty much monsters. Akariel hits like a devil with spellstrikes, Grag's various hissatsu combos with fire spells and fire mysteries make him unpredictable and dangerous, la Gorda is very good at debuffing foes and Pablo being a buff center himself makes this all together a very well oiled but somewhat chaotic engine.

Next up is exploration in Whitethrone, making contact with friends in the city and a hot date between half-orc and winter wolf.

I joined the campaign about a month or so in, so I'm not quite sure of everyone else's class as they're not really obvious. One is a human that uses a longbow, I think he's a ranger. I have no idea what the second human's class is. Then there's the guy that can turn into a Dire Bear. I think he's a shifter. 2 goblins, one an alchemist and no idea what the other is. A kitsune wizard. And me - a halfling hunter/unchained rogue with a boar companion.

I must confess that my first motivation for playing this campaign was a particularly silly idea that popped into my head when I learned about book 5, and our group kind of ran with it. What has ensued has been the wild adventures of the Borishof brothers, Vladimir and Ivan, and their jadwiga "friend" Zelen. An adventure we affectionately refer to as "Drunk Russian Night".

In the interest of not giving away anything about later books, since now we're on the latter half of Book 6, I'll spoiler tag.

Spoiler:
My own character is a scruffy bearded man with an ushanka, a pipe, and an unreasonable amount of explosives and munitions strapped to his chest and belt named Vladimir Yevgeny Borishof (CN Alchemist Grenadier/Gunslinger). Long ago his babushka went to Irrisen from the Old Country (Russia) through as of yet unexplained means. He's lived with her and his brother (a bear of a man with big muscles and a bigger temper, though much less smart) in the forest for as long as they can remember. However, they have had a noticeable lack of potatoes this past harvest (and without potatoes, we cannot make borscht or vodka!), and therefore the brothers leave Irrisen to find some. This quest for some potatoes eventually turns into a hapless adventure across the multiverse, wherein the party is unapologetically irreverent and takes down anyone who gets in their way with entirely excessive amounts of raw brute force. They also make a pit stop in Old Country for a while. Vlad is a big fan of their "Not Sh*@$y guns".

This is perhaps the most unabashedly murderhobo party I've ever participated in, loaded with awful fake accents, extremely dubious moral choices, slav memes, and frequent important lessons about how not to get yourself killed because "Is be remembering what happened to cousin Dimitri that one time" (the fact that a Dimitri showed up in the AP was the happiest of coincidences). If you want a good representation of the party, imagine if Junkrat, Roadhog, and the unholy spawn of Moira and Mei from Overwatch formed an adventuring party. Then give them bad Russian accents.

Oh the stories I could tell... It's a completely absurd game not at all taken seriously, but sometimes that's what you need when running through a particularly difficult campaign with a 3-person group.

My group successfully completed it.

We had a

gnome druid
human barbarian
human inquisitor (witch hunter)
human fighter
human rogue
elf wizard

It was quite the amazing campaign.

My first group fizzled out halfway into Book 2.

After an initial foray into the Playtest, my new Tabletop group decided they wanted to just play Pathfinder 1, not the PT. So we've started up a RoW campaign (as I know one of my players will love it).

We've two veteran players and two relative novices, so I gave them 20-point-builds, double starting hit points (but at 1st level), and average starting gold.

We'll also be using the Automatic Bonus Progression from Pathfinder Unchained, as well as the Background Skills rules and Unchained classes.

The group consists of:

Ciri (GMPC): Varisian (Versatile Human) Bard (she'll be a support build for the most part, providing some healing and buffs) with the Warded Against Witchery Campaign Trait.

Alak: Emberkin Aasimar Witch with an Elemental Patron and a Fox familiar, he's Ciri's adoptive brother and also has Warded Against Witchery (both ran into the Winter Witches as children).

Thelin: Stonesinger Dwarf Druid with the Earth Domain and the Restless Wayfarer Campaign Trait. While he has an Earthbreaker for his weapon (spent his Feat to use it), I suspect he'll end up focusing more on spells as he levels up more.

Freya: Kitsune Oracle of the Stone Mystery with the Restless Wayfarer Campaign Trait. Interestingly enough she's got the highest A/C of the group and probably could be an effective front-line character as well as the primary healer.

Avaral: Half-Orc (Unchained) Barbarian with the Northern Ancestry Campaign Trait. Interestingly he's got the most average stats of the group with nothing below a 12, and only a 16 Strength.

My group is taking a break for the PF2 playtest but we had just gotten to The beginning of Rasputin must die!

My character was:
race: Abyssal Tiefling
Class: Bloodrager, Abyssal bloodline. no archetype
Alignment and deity: CG, Cayden Cailean
Trait: Warded against witchery

I built the character around the fact that natural attacks work differently than weapon attacks and went all out. I took the bite attack from Tiefling so even at 1st level I usually had 3 attacks and through magic items and spells had an impressive number of attacks by the end. Featwise I tried to shore up what weaknesses I could, took some mobility stuff and even dipped into intimidate feats including Cornugon Smash but more for entertainment purposes than anything. My main weakness that nothing was going to fix was my AC, it was abominable. I pretty much relied on hitting harder and having more attacks than the enemy and relying on my impressive amount of hit points to get me through. My saves were about on par most levels. Overall I had a great time. One of the funnest characters I've played in PF and also my favorite adventure path I've played so far.

The other characters were a healing focused witch, an occultist archer and the last was I think some kind of monk/fighter multiclass but not actually a brawler.
