Height advantage

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

In Society does height advantage work.

Say, a goblin is ten feet up above a group of PCs. Does the goblin have advantage in height so he gets a plus in his attack with range?

Another, does a PC have a height advantage over the ogre, when he is on a ten foot cliff and attacks the ogre with a melee weapon from above?

Thanks

Shadow Lodge

They haven't changed this from Core. There is a flat +1 to melee rolls for being on "higher ground". As best I can remember, being mounted gives you this benefit against creatures smaller than your mount.

BUT it doesn't apply to ranged attacks. :'(

Well, in some ways, it does, indirectly. Being above the battlefield prevents a lot of soft cover issues, which is like +4 to hit!

Thanks, for the fast replies.
