Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

Movies

Sovereign Court

Saw this movie on Sunday. What a fun movie. Full of good laughs, action and fun make-up. The scenery was nice too.

You get lines like "The Curse of the hunger to eat crawling things. I hate that one"

Let the Girls go your i'll spalter your blood all over their hillbilly A***"

This is going to be a closed casket.

Some may not like it, some may not get the plot, but the plot is easy to grasp if you just listen and watch.

Each witch was individual and at least their wants are unique unlike Harry P which are just twisted sticks.

Granted the weapons are far fetched, but once again it is a fun movie.

I actually want this one on DVD when it comes out it was so fun.

Grand Lodge

Van Helsing-esc?

Sovereign Court

I found it to be more light hearted than VH. But it has similarities

Thanks for the update, I was debateing going to go see it and now I have a better understanding of what to expect so I wont be disappointed.

I liked when Hansel just quietly moved the groupie six inches sideways. :-)

It wasn't Shakespeare, but I really enjoyed this movie and found it really light and surprisingly fun. It reminded me very much of Pathfinder. (The witches would be hags).

The action and attention to detail on the witches was excellent. Guilty pleasure, but the dialog was also hilarious.

I guess the reason I'm posting is because I'm surprised it was good at all.

Yeah, I saw this a while back (after it popped up on Netflix). I enjoyed it. Had some good lines, and good action, and was overall a fun movie.

Given the premise ("fractured fairytale", done to death pretty much), it turned out MUCH better than it could have.

I saw it recently and also was surprised how fun it was...defintly going to buy on DVD.

Scarab Sages

I liked it. It almost seemed like a nod to the campy European (Italian, most of the time) hooror trash of the 60s and 70s.
