I'd like to get Class Acts: Monks.

I'd love to see a unified single PDF or single point of purchase PDF of all of your pdfs. You have so many, it's easy to feel daunted trying to be a completionist. I'd be much more inclined to spend more and get (at a slight discount maybe? ;) ) all your PDFs if I could get them all as a set rather than to buy just the ones for my classes.

I'd like to get Class Acts: Gunslinger.

I'm interested in seeing:
- More racial alternative traits (like the human "Heart of the Fields") with a high-magic or high-technology spin. An example would be a racial alternative trait that can be used by any race (trading different traits out for each) that involves having magical or technological grafts for varying purposes (like giving a human low-light vision, but lowering their disguise and diplomacy skills due to an unmistakeable modification). This would also work as feats, I think.
- Another idea would be a race that can change where the +2 racial bonus is by diverting their power using ten minutes of concentration. At one time, they have a +2 on their Str. Later, they divert it to be a +2 on their Dex, because they expect that they'll be fighting at range. Later on when doing research or crafting, they divert it to their mind and get a +2 on their Int instead. Perhaps giving the race a -1 on everything to start off with, and then allowing a +3 racial bonus to be moved around to balance it out with itself...
- Archetypes that pull away from inner magic and move towards outer magic and technology. For an example, a monk that gives up the existing Ki pool and their 'body' abilities for a new source of power that can be focused on different parts of their body for various effects that improve as the monk levels up. This would be similar to the power diversion in the last suggestion, but giving effects like Ant Haul, Expeditious Retreat, and so on.

And sold! Thank you very much! I guess I don't need the Class Acts: Monk anymore!

@BetaSprite: Got you down for Class Acts: Gunslinger. Enjoy!

Epy: Glad we had what you were looking for!

And I got another idea: A full bab class with limited arcane spellcasting. Be it as an ranger archetype or as a base class or whatever. I know it's strong because of arcane strike and stuff but that should be nothing that can't be balanced.

I'll do both. Here's my review.

My idea: if you could have Herolab files to make these work easily in Herolab, that would be awesome!!

I'm interested in taking a look at Class Acts: Summoners.

It would be my first dabble on Abandone Arts products, so i choose Class Acts: Rogues

RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 32

@ Ssalarn: Nice of you to pop in, and thanks for the kind words about the peacebringer archetype!

@ The Terrible Zodin: Once I do secure a reliable artist, I'll be developing quite a lot of different product lines. I'm sitting on at least ten new monsters at the moment, for example...

@ dbass: Thanks for your thoughts!

@ Sir Gavvin: There's definitely room to add a little character to the crafting system. If we get around to alternate rules systems, crafting will certainly be on my radar.

@ Kolokotroni: Welcome! Let me know what you think, once you've received your PDF.

@ Bardess & Oliver Volland: Interesting thought; noted!

@ Umbranus: Sort of like legacy weapons, but for Pathfinder?

@ mrgdawg: Now that is a product you may actually see us develop. I've been looking into a way to make patron deities matter, almost like a fourth "branch" of character creation. Alignment, race, class, and deity.

@ Epy: Thanks for the purchase, and the d20 Store review!

@ Itchy: Great; and thanks for the review!

@ Darklord Morius: Darklord, you've got to contribute to the thread to get your free PDF! See the first post.

Sorry for my slip, let me contribute, then.

What about Races acts? Following the ideas shown on Advanced Races Guide, why not make new archetypes, feats and equipment for each race? Like Races Acts: Tiefling Archetypes? That would be good to see.

And, i don't know if its in the guidelines you work, but i would LOVE, die and kill for new monstrous feat and archetypes, "Monters Revisited" series are very good, but some are frustrating for the lack of really new options (No sugar for Frost Giants, in Giants Revisited, for example!)

I would try the Class Acts: Rogues.

Abandoned Arts wrote:

I'm not sure. I tried to search for legacy weapons in google and what I found was an arms dealer. But I guess there was something like weapons getting stronger in another RPG, perhaps D&D?

I have yet to acquire any of your products, so now would be a great opportunity to draw me in, I suppose!

As a sporadic player, I enjoy Bards and Alchemists. I can't get enough of them.

As a constant DM, I find myself making a lot of NPCs, but the least likely NPCs I make are Wizards, Clerics, and Summoners. Something to make them more interesting to use would be nice.

I'll leave it entirely up to you which PDF to send of those five classes (feats or archetypes is fine, no preference). The challenge is made!

Here is an idea that does not seem to get a lot of use. A group of spells that are not combat related but be story based.

Example might be an illusion spell that can be placed on a spellbook that would make anyone who is not a wizard, (or cleric if that’s where your story takes you) see a mundane book that they find interesting but only includes information that they already know so that they are not inclined to keep it if they are not a wizard.

Or a spell that would teach someone to use a spellbook (taking a level in wizard in the process if they wished and studied the book). They would still have to earn the experience to gain the level in the first place. Or 1st level wizard explain how they learned to be a wizard.

Or spells that are just useful in nature. A spell that guides your hand to allow you to slice a piece of meat deli thin but only works on food.

Spells that would not have a lot of power but would be useful for role-playing.

I would like to check out Class Acts: Wizards

@ Everyone: Got it.

I second Umbranus' request for a full BAB arcane caster. More like the Duskblade than Magus. I care little for class features. Give me a full BAB to hit and some spells to sling.

I would really like to see a return to classes that do not marry BAB to HD.
More stuff that would motivate me to spend my money:
Psionic support, both DSP support and new innovations
Post Apocalypse
Races with 10 or less points by the ARG or zero level adjustment
Maneuvers like those from The Book of 9 Swords
Alternate power source like Magic of Incarnum
spell points system
Military/objective based style missions

A complimentary PDF of Class Acts Summoner would be nice. Thank you.

Dark Archive

SO I haven't taken the time to read everyone else's suggestions. I haven't had a chance to look at any of your stuff yet, but were I to like it my suggestion would be to do combined books of like materials such that someone came in late like myself wouldn't have to by dozens of different products to catch up, plus organizing pdfs is easier if I don't have scads on a topic. That said...I'd like Class Acts: Wizards please and I'll see how I feel about your wares.

Silver Crusade

So, I'm a big fan of mounts, but I also love playing classes that don't get them, or ones that really should (like gunslingers, they're cowboys, where'd da horses go?)

Ideas include - magical items (maybe like figurine of wonderous power) which is a mount that scales with level? Maybe you have to feed it? Maybe it has an alignment, and maybe the evil ones have...particular tastes?

- feats that can give you a mount, or that let one class stack with another that provides one.

I'd also love to see more Sorcerer bloodlines - I never get tired of thinking about 'how would that get in yer blood?'.

And Non-Combat feats in general - that don't rely on class features. There's enough of those - but maybe stuff like:

Spooky: You get a +2 on saves to resist fear effects and a +2 on intimidation, cause you're spooky.

Oh, and I'd love Gunslinger: Archetypes please =D

@Umbranus:
I used the spoiler tag in an attempt to avoid derailing the thread.

D&D 3.5 had a product called Weapons of Legacy that had weapons that leveled with the character. The idea was to have the player obtain a weapon that was really cool and not have to trade it out in 4 levels because it was no longer useful.

Purple Duck games has produced a series of products with a similar idea, but I think they did it better. If Abandoned Arts decides to produce some content like that, I would suggest they first take a look at Legendary 1 - 7, to try to keep things consistent for the Pathfinder ruleset.

Yes, that was what I thought.

Didn't know that but I never had any D&D3.x books. I played it for some time but only the gm had the rulebooks.

I believe Book of Nine Swords also featured... Well, nine swords that all worked as legacy weapons. I've gotta say Pathfinder legacy weapons would be pretty sweet.

Is this still on? I hope so....

Anyhoo, not having bought any of these previously, what I'm about to say may be fairly unnecessary, but it would be cool to get some bundles of just 'feats' without them being race/class specific so I could hand them to players rolling any character, without additional shuffling.

(Also, a book of them, I like physical products far more, so that would be cool)

If this is still relevant; Class Acts: fighters please!

Personally? I think you guys are awesome, and would love to see more alchemist discoveries, or perhaps a system or class revolving around oozes.
And again, as one mentioned, earlier, some expansion on races, perhaps the underloved ones marked as uncommon, with some alternate racial traits and stuff. That and there's races in the inner sea beastiary in need of love too.

My wish from you would be the class acts, alchemist, archytpes please~

THANK YOU YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME IN ALL WAYS

Having just bought the CA: Wizards, I've been drooling for the past half hour. Excellent work AA! I'm happy with both concepts and hope the next line out is a 'crossover' for both Base Classes and Prestige Classes. There are three of the players in my last game that loved the whole 'multi-classing' mythos. All three wanted stuff to address it, even though old fuddy duddies, like me, scoffed at such silliness.

Oh! Nearly forgot! Fighter please! And I'll be buying more next payday, darn your sneaky hides!

Class Acts: Rangers

Thanks a lot

Lantern Lodge

I'd love to get Class Acts: Magus Archetypes

A future product I would like to see is along the lines of your Archetype lines but one that focuses on Racial Archetypes as presented in the Advanced Race Guide.

I would like to see a Class Acts anything Eastern. have you thought about an original class like Wu Jen?

I have not had a chance to pick up any of the Class acts line but am soon to be starting up an Alchemist. Would it be possible to get Class Act: Alchemist? Would like to read it over to help me with a new society character.

Brian

Class Acts: Monk Archetypes

I'd like to see some more eastern flavor as well. If you guys are considering branching out from the crunch, adventure Paths or modules would be awesome.

Hi guys,

More support for Prestige Classes would be nice. Archetypes are really amazing, but there are some things that just need that little bit more mechanics to pull off successfully.

Tossing up between Class Acts: Magi and Class Acts: Magus Archetypes, but I think I'll go with the Magus Archetypes.

Cheers guys and keep up the good work. :)

The Exchange

I love these Class acts, the Peacebringer for the Paladin is by far one of my new favorite classes to play. Love the work you guys are doing and I'd love to see more archetypes similar to the Peacebringer. I'd also love to see some support for Prestige classes, I think you and your team could create some pretty amazing stuff.

@ flash cxxi: Coming right up. Follow-up question: would you folks rather see Golarion-specific prestige classes, or general-use prestige classes?

RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 32

@ Codanous: Thanks! Did you want to nab a free PDF? If you dig the peacebringer and you'd like to see more archetypes like that one, I have to recommend Class Acts: Bard Archetypes to you.

The Exchange

I'd like to see more general-use prestige classes, I think the golarion specific ones are great but if you don't always play in Golarion it can limit. Of course, a player and a gm could always tweak a prestige class to fit but I think I'd like to see more general-use prestige classes.

Personally, I'd like to 3 and 5 level prestige classes. Not everyone plays past level 10 or 11, I know our group doesn't, so I'd like to see "mini" prestige classes more.

Oh yeah, are you still giving them away? I wasn't sure, Bard or Sorcerer would be great!

I'd personally love to see more Norse and Celtic themed things, the class act stuff I've seen has been very nice.

I understand you keep them short to keep price down, therefore maintaining availability and high usage, but if you made them a bit longer, you could go into a bit more detail as well.

Have you ever given thought into doing the same with "races" That you do with Class? I'd be interested in such things as well.

If possible I'd enjoy the Barbarian Archtypes. :) If not, I understand it's the last day.

I agree with both points. General use would be my preference. I also miss the five level PrC's from 3.0 and 3.5 as well.

I think more general-use. Paizo pretty much has it covered when dealing with Golarion-specifics so more generic Organisational PrCs would be useful.

Not sure if I am beating your deadline...

How about something about the Lich or Vampire or other leveled undead.

I would gladly accept the Class Acts: Rogues.

Has anyone received their free PDF?
