Hope to see many of you there tomorrow and/or over the weekend.
We have a record breaking number of PFS games being run this year!

I will be around from tomorrow onwards.

I have a personal table in the trade hall. I tried to have a schedule with at least one free slot each day - well - we will see how this works out.

I have enough DwarvenForge with me to build up most scenarios and enrourage anyone wanting to use it to fill up the slots that I don't GM. Just approach me.

I'm back - and it was a fantastic convention once again.

I managed to GM 7 slots, play 3 slots, used the very first one to settle in and actually have time to chat with people and one slot to relax with family.

A big thanks to the organizers and especially Rob. He was always there if something was needed - and GMed most of the time as well.

There have been many other helpers who deserve praise as well but having been 'on show' in the trade hall cuts you off a little bit from what is happening elsewhere. Not that I would truly notice once I start GMing.

Next - Thanks to Russ (2*) and my second GM (John?) - I had three very enjoyable games.

That leaves one last THANKS to all the great players at my table.

I had a great time at Conception 2013 and got to play more PFS than I have ever played at a con (played 4 and ran 2), and as it was my first chance to play (as oppose to GM) since last Conception it was long overdue!

Thanks to all my GMs and all my players, I hope I provided a good game to the latter within the time constraints (which always seem to beat us; 4 hours is just not enough with introductions etc).

Also special thanks go to my Andoran T-shirt for allowing me to re-roll the failed Reflex save that would have killed off my main PFS character Grelow. The good news is that a Year of the Risen Rune T-shirt is winging its way to me already so I can be prepared again next time :)

BTW Rob / Dave - I need to scan in and email you a scenario reporting sheet that I didn't get time to hand to you at the con, I will try to do that today.

It was a great convention, and Pathfinder was everywhere. PFS was certainly the largest single presence there, with games being run everywhere you looked. For each game slot, all the other non-Pathfinder games combined took up one message board, while PFS had another board all to itself.

VC Rob Silk deserves special mention and huge kudos. If he wasn't GMing himself, he was ever-present to make sure everything went smoothly. If anyone had a problem, he did his best to resolve it, from finding games for late players, to roaming the play areas lending support to any GM who needed it. Lots of little things made our jobs as GMs easier, such as the readily available folder of pre-gens, all organised by level and class. And his work isn't done, as he now has the task of entering some 134+ scenario chronicle reports into the Paizo database (that's over 800 individual entries - ack!).

You definitely earned your Venture Captain stripes Rob, well done!

Thanks also to Mike Brock for providing lots of nifty boons, books, and GM rewards. It's nice to feel the love from Paizo all the way over here in Britain :)

I'd also like to say thank you and congratulations to Rob for his first convention as Venture Captain. You did a fantastic job! (And for allowing me the luxury of running Eyes of the Ten over the weekend)

I'll add my thanks too, particularly to Dave for honouring my request to run the Blackros Matrimony for me. Much fun was had!

It was impressive. As we were running about 50% more games than last year I was expecting a few games to go unfilled. As it was we could have run even more - especially low level.

Well done everyone.

I'd also like to add my congrats to Rob as a new major force in the Pathfinder Society. He must of taken the Leadership feat to keep all us GM's under control and ensure all the players were taken care of.
As with all things I enjoyed myself and found some scenario's ran better than others ,so my appologies to the players in the one's that didnt go so well and my thanks to the players who's characters I killed for taking it so well.
Lastly cheers for the lift Rob.
cheers
Russ

Not just Rob but all the PFS organisers involved. It was well organised because it was well prepared for, getting us GMs to add our proposed scenarios to an online spreadsheet schedule, and getting the PDFs added to our downloads in good time to prep the scenarios.

So kudos to Rob, Dave, Tonya and all the other PFS organisers and GMs.

Rob has the Leadership feat? I thought it looked overpowered how smoothly everything worked.

Quickly - someone report him to the local VC !!
