Jeorge watched from his hidden vantage point. The guards along the perimeter moved unaware of his presence. Something caught his eye, a large cat like shape dropping from a balcony of the palace and passed out through the perimeter.
Jeorge could only watch as the thing stepped into a shadow and emerged in the form of a man. The Guard drew the attention of the others. They all seemed to turn to look in Jeorge's direction.

Estos climbed down the rock to the beach sand and moved away from the cliff as far as he could without loosing sight of what would happen next. The sound of stone breaking came from the cliff wall. Estos watched as thirty thousand tons of stone split off from the cliff and crumbled into debris before it was all swallowed by a dust cloud with a roar.
DM Briefing: Along a section of coast defended by great cliffs, sections of the rock wall begin to crumble. Apparently Clerics of a foreign land have been preparing the way for invasion by breaching the walls.

87. Catastrophe Strikes City
Lady Kylieea struggled to walk her pet lap-dog along the paved stone road of the Elite district toward the royal Gardens. She had every intention of allowing her beloved beast dig among the Roses i the evening air and 'do his business'.
A cat came from the shadows of a fine house, soundless, and beast raised his nose at the smell. The cat was immediately joined by a dozen others. They accelerated from shadows and descended on the lady and her beast with claws and fangs.
Lady Kylieea and her beast screamed with pain at the unrelenting assault.
DM briefing: A Woman and her pet dog are attacked by a mob of cats in a brutal and violent assault.

88. Hail of Death
Mahl put down his hammer and stepped out into the open sky. The Thunder had gotten incredibly loud and he looked skyward for its source. it was getting louder and then it happened - he could see chunks of ice smashing across the roofs of the village - punching holes through timbers ad he was caught a glancing low to the back of the head as he ducked under his shed roof...
DM Briefing: The Village of Hendry is destroyed by a terrible Hailstorm. Anyone caught outside is attacked every round by chunks of ice inflicting 2d6 damage each.

The Merchant Ferar felt it the instant it happened - The sudden change of road surface from stone paved highway to rough dirt track - and he woke.
"Levanso! What is wrong?" The Merchant contemplated the Idea that it was highwaymen...but the ell had not rung.
"The Road...is gone master Ferar!" Levanso's Voice came through the ca window.
DM Briefing: Someone steals a mile of Stone Paved Road linking the capital city to a outlying town. The PCs can be called in to investigate.

90. Mummy in the Attic
"Jottun! Come down from there!" The Sound of Rummaging fell silent. "Nanna! I found some big chests!" Boxes? Hama didn't remember any large chests up there. The Child appeared at the hole above the ladder.
"Do you have a Pry bar or a Hammer?"
DM Briefing: A child finds a Mummy Sarcophagus in his Gran's Attic. There is also a Canopic Jar containing the Soul of the Mummy (releasing it will allow the Mummy to Roam Freely) and a Death Mask allowing the Wearer to control the mummy as an automaton.
