We are currently having a fundraiser for a TEO tavern. (That link can only be viewed by TEO members who are registered and accepted on our forums.)
It's only be up an hour and we are already at 15% of our target.

IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: The Empyrean Order is also a multi-gaming group. We aren't sitting around twiddling our thumbs waiting for PFO for the next two years. We routinely host pen and paper games as well as play a slew of other games from Planetside 2 to Mechwarrior Online.
That is what I felt missing, couldn't pin point it till today.
Speaking of which, I believe I'm about ready to start gathering names for the PnP campaign I'm going to try to run on roll2o.net.
It's going to be a homebrew setting "low fantasy" (generaly) campaign using the Pathfinder ruleset. Right now I'm thinking we'll do either Saturday or Friday nights(EST) (depending on what works out best for players) every 2 weeks (since Sat. and Fri. tend to be popular nights for going out...don't want to do it every week). PM if you are interested and I'll send you the campaign/"adventure path" .pdf

Tavern!?
Just files out your registration form. Count a cleric of cayden Cailean among your ranks.
(and a brew master too Mayhaps! Still waiting on an answer for healing potion ale from the devs though. ;)
So, tavern. Yah, I'm up for tossing some in the hat. After all, the river Kingdoms need more taverns. (well doesn't every where?)

If we just picked up Todd freaking Morgan for TEO, life just got *much* more exciting.
waves hi to the other PFS guy
Hey AD!
What's great about PFO is that I can just be a follower and basic member of the Charter without the worry of coordinating everything :) It will be my way of winding down after a long convention or a PFS player yelling at me :P

If enough TEO members are at GenCon or PaizoCon maybe we can even have an informal meeting with some brews or something.
Wow GenCon I have not been there since 98 or 99, back when I was still working for White Wolf publishing. And then I was there to work. Had a blast though with Rich Dansky during that last trip. Came home with lots of swag =).

Lisa Stevens stated in today's retrospective blog that by the end of the Kickstarter. "we'll be offering one of the sweetest deals in gaming history!" Do you think they have a big announcement coming or is she referring to the current rewards? Discuss...
I think we are in for a big announcement...

This sounds really promising.
I really hope you also accept casual crafters. :)
Absolutely! Casual is fine and crafters are great!
We are seeking to build a force to ensure this game is something everyone can enjoy, not just RPKers. To that end we are taking a lot of measures to make sure there is a way to contribute for everyone who wants to be a part of our cause.

This sounds so awesome, and I am very excited for Pathfinder on-line. I'll be getting it as soon as it is out (unfortunately I cannot do much with the kickstarter right now *sad face*).
Anywho, this is the type of group I would be interested in. I am not very good at PVP, but always like to help out when needed (when I played DDO). I can get teamspeak easily but what time do you usually meet at?
As for characters, I enjoy playing most anything, but most likely will start out as a Cleric

Our official meeting are currently every Friday at 7pm PST, there will be one tomorrow but we aren't expecting much turn out because of the holiday season.
There are people on there at a lot of other times though. We just hang out in there to talk, play other games, and we currently have multiple P&P sessions being run there.

I hope everyone had a good and safe Christmas.
GenCon is a little out of my budget, but I might try to shoot for PaizoCon.
@ Keovar, Apophis1989... Have hope my friends. I have a friend in Daytona who is totally blind and he is a black belt, and instructor, of Brazillian Jujitsu. I also have dabbled in a few forms of martial arts myself, I fight with swords, participate in Live Action Roleplay, I craft chainmail from jewelery to armor, I've been doing PnP games since the days of 1st Ed D&D (and running games), just to name a few things I do despite not being able to see when I'm not playing MMO's. Either of you are free to drop me a PM if you want to chat. I've done a lot of reading on medical technology research around the world where fixing blindness is concerned. :)

Is there room for a CG member in your kingdom?
I'm envisioning a CG explorer/jack-of-all-trades type who is fierce with a blade, and attains a knighthood someday. Searching for the right guild.
I think I'm digging the vibe I'm getting here. I'm a long time PnP and computer-RPG player, (mostly been DMing Pathfinder for the past few years), with a little bit of MMO experience.
I'm also a published poet and writer, and could produce flavor text/In-character documents/songs for the kingdom.
Also - can a character be party of the military or militia *and* a guild in your kingdom? :)
Thanks!

We take all flavours of good as long as you follow the code of conduct. Military + Guild is perfectly fine. Since the militia is basically all combatant characters that aren't in the military, I don't really see being in both.

We have people of all good alignments in The Empyrean Order (NG Kingdom).
You can be part of the formal military and a guild.
Others who do not want to be part of the formal military are part of the militia but, will only see action in defense of our settlements. Also the militia will have support and/or combat roles in this situation.
This is how we envision it working at the moment.

True and not true. The only time we will really call on the militia and expect them to come is settlement defense.
The militia can volunteer for almost any assignment. The military commander of that operation can allow them in, and probably will in most situations.
The main differences between the militia and military is that the military must pass tryouts, and that active military members will be given non-defensive military assignments. So for instance Justice Knights a clan at another part of the map who isn't even an official ally of ours comes under attack by RPK Dudes. We may assign members of our active military to go live in the Justice Knight city and fight RPK Dudes. They will have the right to turn down that assignment, but if they do the next people to be asked about it will be other military members. Militia members could volunteer to come along as well if they hear about that assignment but the military commanders aren't going to go give them that assignment.
Military units are likely to be based on the kind of assignments people enjoy receiving. So if you like fighting enemies and helping allies in our immediate area, you will likely be in a different unit than members who like fighting for just causes far away from our territory, which will be in a different unit than people who really enjoy naval assignments etc. I'm expecting well have a few units of people who like variety who we stick in wherever we need help at the moment as well.
