Human Paladin Ability Scores?

Advice

Hello! This is my first post on this forum, so bear with me.

I'm writing up a human paladin for my boyfriend's campaign that we're starting tonight. The problem is that I can't pick which ability score to put the +2 that humans get.

So far her setup is as follows:

STR-18
DEX-15
CON-15
INT-14
WIS-13
CHA-16

I'm thinking of either putting it in DEX or CON, to have more physical capabilities, but at the same time having a high INT is also handy.

What do y'all think?

Those are really high stats.

Basically the answer is really dependent on your build but for a paladin I'd generally look at adding +2 to strength or charisma. I'd leave Dex and Con alone unless you are looking a TWF build.

You could go with the dual talented option for humans, and put 2 points into both Strength and Charisma. I would then suggest increasing Con at level 4 and Dex at level 8.

RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 32, RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2013 Top 16

You could put the +2 in DEX, then get a Mithral breastplate for armor, and be able to move at full speed, while keeping a good AC. Otherwise, it just depends on whether you care about offense (STR) or defense (CHA) more.

It seems when we have to actually build our stats, mine always end up disappointing, and when we roll them mine always turn out really high (like this one).

Thanks for the input :D

Dual talented is good but I'd not go for it because you're really low on feats anyway.

These stats are insane, you can basically do 2 things with these: swap dex and str and go for archer, putting those two points in dex or (I personally dont like paladin builds based on smite to be effective) you just put those two points in str, pick up power attack, furious focus, later the eldritch heritage chain and quicken spell like ability and beat the crap out of just everything - even without smite.
