I just thought of all those stat blocks that balance if you take into account false life temp hp which sends favored class points to skills

the stat block has to balance without false life, you can;t have that cast all the time and once you have used a favored class point for hp or skill you can't change it.

almost every sorcerer with false life cast "before combat" has done this, assumed that the spell is cast all the time and the "temporary hp" are lasting forever which has allowed the favored class points to be used for skills.
you can't do this

I think they originally had a higher CHA score, which allowed for spells.

Seems pretty odd for a Paladin to have high WIS, low CHA.
