The expansion will keep you busy for awhile as you explore the new areas and quests which are fun with the usual Blizzard quality. Then its back to the group partying and raiding (or PVPing). I'm only playing because its fun to do things with my guild buddies but I could easily be playing some other game if they decided to switch.
But I don't knock Blizzard at all - it is really tricky to come up with something new and fresh for the endgame that will grab the interest of players who have done it all before. Lots of other games have tried, and most have failed.

I think Mists is probably the most casual friendly expansion. Great quests, lots of things to do other than grind heroics and LFR, great graphics, the quests are some of the best they've done yet.
If you've ever liked WoW, and aren't a hardcore PVP/PVE top-tier guy, then I think you'd get real fun out of MoP.
