Well just to say as I didn't see it posted here, but Washington officially passed R74, so gay marriage (or as we will soon be calling it marriage for all) will be legal here.
Gratz to all my friends who have been waiting for this!
EDITED TO ADD: And as usual I'll be with the Goth Pride float again for Pride in Seattle. :)

As a citizen on Minnesota I was unbelievably cheerful this morning after I awoke to find out that we voted no to both constitutionally banning gay marriage and requiring ID for voters (I have a 91 year old grandmother who would be sorely inconvenienced by a solution to a problem that is largely nonexistent).
Maybe the next step will be to removing the legislature that still bans gay marriage and actually allow those friends of mine who are to vote.

I was going to link to an Urban Dictionary definiton of Queen, but it turns out they're all about the band. I'd probably find a gay reference if I scrolled down far enough, but meh.
Plus my joke was lame.
