What wonderful news. I can't think of a better person to be in charge of the Ireland Grand Lodge. Well done William. Do keep in touch. I know UK players will be interested to know what's going on in Ireland and I would be delighted to place any notices you have of events on the PaizoCon UK website.
I look forward to seeing you soon. ...perhaps at our next PaizoCon Philharmonic Kazoo Koncert? I hope you have been practising.

Hello all!
Thanks for your kind words and my apologies for not posting sooner. It has been one those days. My PFS email is pfs.ireland@gmail.com please feel free to email me or PM at any time.
So where to start?
I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland where I have been playing with toy soldiers and funny looking dice since the '70s.
For me PFRPG is the latest & greatest iteration of my favourite RPG. I was involved in Living Greyhawk and the ability to play my character on different continents got me hooked on Organised Play. When LG went the way of all flesh I tried other OP campaigns but nothing seemed to fit. Then I read about PFS and found something that equalled and then surpassed LG and I wanted a piece of the action.
Thing is RPGs are social animals and I would need other players. So I began the process of bringing the PFS word to the D&D playing faithful in my region and slowly a cadre of players and GMs has grown up and a couple of years on, we now have a well established monthly event and presence in local cons, gaming clubs and that rarest of things (in these parts) FLGSs.
Many thanks to the VO's "across the water" in England (Dave & Rob), you can expect many questions in your inboxes over the next few weeks! Many thanks to Mike for entrusting this responsibility to me, I hope I will be equal to the task!
I am looking forward to expanding the reach of the Irish Grand Lodge on both sides of the border and of course if anyone is planning a visit to Ireland let me know....
I understand Painlord did a map once....please note the Grand Lodge now resides in Belfast!
Thanks again everyone!
William

Hey!
Looking forward to seeing you all on this side of the Irish Sea,
Gaelcon is a great convention and well worth a visit. The even better news is that there are loads of great Irish Cons to go to between now and Halloween 2013. And I am hoping to bring PFS to where no VC has gone before!
I have volunteers to run some PFS in Dublin this month at Dominicon, Warpcon in Cork in January and we're in negotiations with Ireland's oldest convention: Leprecon, March 2013 in Dublins fair city.
In June I will be doing my usual gig in Queen's University Belfast's Q-Con.
Each of these cons has it's own atmosphere. Warpcon has a really great tradition of LARPs, Q-Con has loads of Cosplayers adding to the fun.
We're just getting started, looking forward to more to come! And of course to saying
"céad míle fáilte" to any visiting Pathfinders!
