A quick question: I read that PDFs are offered with print copies, but can they be downloaded (once released) from Paizo or do I need to check Drivethru or jonbrazer.com?
If you ordered it from Paizo, tomorrow (or a few days after that) you will be charged for the book, and the PDF will pop in your downloads. Once the book arrives at Paizo's warehouse, it will ship to you (per your normal method of getting books shipped from Paizo). Atleast I am 99% certain that is how it will work. Liz will be able to tell you better.

What are the umbral kobolds like?
There's a good preview of them, including the race's traits, in the Temple of Orcus. Short of the long, they are similar to normal kobolds but are balanced with playable races, allowing them to be a serious choice for a race.
With shadow-themed abilities, I presume?
