It's like a hug from Oprah.

Since it's tangentally tied to the movie-verse, I'd love to see them deal with AIM.

I think to start they'd probably focus on HYDRA to keep with established ties to the movie, but AIM would be fun, especially if the show runs long enough that they can bring in new threats. Seeing MODOK brought to life would be cool.

I just think AIM would be a nice tangent.

I would like to see Bobbi Morse show up in the series though. I always liked her character, well before Bendis got a hold of her and Hawkeye.

But truly, how long will you enjoy her before Whedon kills her off?

Whedon at his absolute worst is still going to be better than the current crop of Marvel writers......

That has become a mantra over the past few years. Doesn't mean he still isn't going to gank her when the time is right.

It's more of an indictment of the current writers at the house of bad ideas than anything to do with Whedon. I think Schumaker is capable of doing better superhero stuff than Marvel Comics right now. Thankfully the movies aren't created by the same people.

Hydra/AIM in a TV show.

Spoiler:
Well you start with classic misdirection, SHIELD is tracking reports of Hydra stuff appearing (tie in with Captain America 2?) and dealing with Hydra agents, typical spy stuff.

Then about episode 7, you reveal that it's a third party pretending to be Hydra, and you roll out AIM.

End Season one with capturing a mook and finding out AIM is reverse engineering Tesseract tech, because they've infiltrated SHIELD and they have just been stealing SHIELD tech.

Season 2 then starts with our scrappy band of heroes going 'off the grid' and trying to thwart the corruption from the outside.

If the Movieverse takes the Ultimates approach of 'super soldier serum' being behind so much, MODOK becomes easily explainable as an AIM experiemnt (ala the Leader in the Hulk movie).[/spoiler]
