Subroutine Racial Feat idea: feedback appreciated!

In my homebrew we have a construct race much like unto another product, only ours are called Wilerborn (as Wilder was the original inventor) and the other day I had an interesting idea for a feat, I'd appreciate feed back. This is really rough as I meant to write it last night when I was thinking about it and forgot.

Subroutine
Requirement: Wilerborn, Quicken Spell
Benefit: You can set a Quickened Spell to be case if a specific condition is met. You can cast the spell as a swift action. The subroutine spell takes a spell slot one level higher than the quickened spell.
For example, Ren (a wilerborn cleric) knows the party will soon be facing a dragon. She decides to set up her subroutine as follows:
If the dragon fears my party, I will cast my quickened remove fear. Her 5th level spell slot is now filled with a subroutine Fear (Dragon fear).
Normal: You can only cast quickened spells on your turn.

Please I welcome feedback!

Wouldn't it be simpler to grant access to the Contingency spell, perhaps as a SLA?

Maybe, but the person in question I'm working with is a cleric, so we're looking for something that'd work with her.
