I was reading up on the blackblade and i was curious about somthing..
Senses: A black blade is aware of everything around it like a creature that can see and hear. It can be blinded and deafened as if it were a creature. It uses the saving throws of its magus, even if the magus is not currently wielding the black blade.
Does the blackblade get perception checks? And if so using the wielders ranks?

Typically with intelligent weapons you need to give them skills ranks which increases their ego/cost. For the black blade it is explicitly called out that as its intelligence increases it gains languages and ranks in knowledge arcana only.
So the item would instead make an untrained perception check with only its wisdom bonus as a modifier.
So your blade apparently isn't all that good at seeing things that aren't painfully obvious, it does grant you the alertness feat at least.
